Pups were born in goat barn with goats.They are being socialized to chickens, goats, cows, and pigs as well as tractors, atv's, and small children. Also trained on electric fence.
They are an amazing breed!
They watch the land and air for anything that is a potential threat to their people or their animals. The guardian instinct these dogs have is truly amazing.
They're spunky as pups but as they mature get more of a laid back personality. Also they are super smart and independent thinkers so owners must be firm. This breed wants to please their owners, so praise goes a long way in their training. Scolding works well when they need correction. They do NOT respond well to any physical discipline.
They will protect your farm and win your heart.
