Tempo, Tarzan, Tanko, Tina, Telma, Tassie, and Trudy! They are the sweetest, loving, and most playful pups! They are like busy bees following the rescue workers, they just want to be loved, and held. They are about 15 wks. old, and 12 lbs. They are ready for their forever homes. and families! They are all spayed, and neutered. They are up to date on vacc. and monthly preventions. ME posted 2/8/17 **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our wonderful dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our many years in rescue.** Adoption: $285 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, food, medical records, spaying/neutering, and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed : $120.00 We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip from Alabama. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.

verifiedPosted Breed: Dachshund / Basset Hound / Mixed (short coat). Hi! My name is Dixie. I am a sophisticated girl with lots of love to give. I had been hit by a car when I was rescued but am good as new ! I tested positive for heart worms but I had my treatment and those nasty buggers are all gone!! My Foster Mommy says I am very sweet. I still like to play and I love to snuggle. I get along great with my other fostermates, big and small. I would be perfect for someone that wants a companion to sit with them and keep them company. I can't wait to find my furever home! Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about this dog. You can apply online by clicking on Application . Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our adoption events. Thank you for considering a rescue! The adoption fee includes vet check, vaccinations, Bordetella, de-worming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is a an additional $12.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip. It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it. NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others. AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.

verifiedPosted Breed: Dachshund / Basset Hound / Mixed (short coat). Submit an online adoption application for me! Hi, my name is Thomas. I am a special needs boy. I was found stray last April and was impounded in a local high kill shelter. Shelter notice I was not using my back legs to walk and they contacted who is my foster mom now. I have not my back legs paralyzed it is just that I drag them in smooth floor, I use them better in rough floor but still my back legs coordination is not good. My foster mom tried several veterinaries and a chiropractor, we had different opinions about what could be my unknown past and why I was like that but in conclusion and about my future all think that I may walk better with time and working with me but never will walk perfectly. Anyway, I love my wheel cart and I run everywhere because I am full of life and energy. My foster mom says that I love everyone and I am very playful but sometimes I can be rough playing but I learn fast and understand. I love food and treats. I am medium size dog, short but long and heavy :) 26-27lbs. I use disposable male dog wraps during the day because sometimes when I get excited I cant hold my pee...and my foster mom says that I am always happy and excited! :) I can rest being in my wheel cart too! PLEASE WATCH M VIDEO :) IT IS A BIT LONG BUT SHOWS SOME ASPECTS OF ME. I am fostered in HOUSTON area, TX and my adoption local fee is $150 but I can be adopted out of state and my fee is $400 and it will include all my shots, micro-chipped, neuter/spay, health certificate and transport with rescue ground transport.
