    Breed: Beagle
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Senior
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Beagle (long coat). Adoption Fee: $200. Thank you for your interest in dog who needs a new home. Adoption can be one of the most fulfilling experiences in your life and especially in the life of your new canine companion. A note to those looking at CPR. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. Our job is to find those someone's. Our most successful adopters come to CPR not because they want a dog. They come to us because they want to give a dog a home. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. While we like to know what you like in looks, a dog is more than a pretty face. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families. Our descriptions contain all that we know about this dog today. We'll update as more information is known. Are you looking to adopt within the next 30 days? If so please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and complete the application. You'll find it in the menu on the left hand side. You'll also find a total listing of all our dogs available. Just browsing but interested in poodles and poodle mixes? Please drop a note to applications@carolinapoodlerescue.org with your name, address and phone # and email. We'll add you to our mailing list. thanks the CPR Adoption team looking for a place to rest my old soul. Date into Rescue: 8/25/2017 Reason for being in rescue: sc shelter, stray. Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? none noted Weight: 28 lbs Height: 15" at the shoulder Adoption Fee: $200 Fence needed? not needed What kind of home would be best for me? I just need a easy laid back home where I can be someone's best pal. What is my personality like? Just a sweet senior that was found a stray all on my lonesome in South Carolina. I'm a easy dog to care for and low maintenance. Got a couch for me to sleep on? and maybe a nice back scratch every now and then and I'll be satisfied. I know I'm not the average cute fluffy poodle that comes through this rescue but I promise I can love you just as much as they would (maybe even more). I need a special person with a big heart willing to take on a old guy like me. We could go take walks around the park or maybe even go watch a baseball game.. I'm not picky. I'm extremely loving and loyal. I will never want to leave your side. With age and experience.. I am wise. I know what a leash is.. and I love when I go for walks. I also can sit and lay down for treats. Give this old boy a chance! How do I act when I first meet new people? Friendly, I love people. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. My age: Estimated birth date 9/1/2002 Please note - we do not ship dogs. If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip. Most of our dogs are at our farm in Pacolet, South Carolina. To apply, please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and visit the tab on the left that directions you to the online application. Please note that when screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc. Others here may be a better fit for you. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet. We want you to be very happy with your new companion and will make suggestions based on what you tell us about you. Thank you for considering CPR.

We'll add you to our mailing list. thanks the CPR Adoption team I am scared but I deserve a home a to! Date into Rescue: 3/7/2016 from the Abbeville hoarder Reason for being in rescue: seized from a hoarder Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? none noted Weight: about 35 lbs - chunky and needs to lose some weight Height: about 15" at the shoulder Adoption Fee: $200 Fence needed? Yes - for her safety. Nadia has never lived in suburbia, she will need introduce to this world and a fence will keep her safe What kind of home would be best for me? One that wants a project, one that understands this dog does not have the background yet to be a pet. Nadia's home will understand that Nadia was most likely born at the hoarder's house where she lived the first 2 years of her life with no socialization with people (save her hoarder owner) . She has grown in the last few months but our life here is very controlled. She does not get an opportunity to bolt and she is around very savvy dog people who understand how to read Nadia's body language. What is my personality like? At first, she is very timid but as she gets to know you, she shows a happy, affectionate side. She loves attention she likes to play chase where she runs and you chase. She loves other dogs and gets along well with others. She is clean in her crate now . She loves food and dogs who are food motivated are trainable. Update from caregiver 8/2/2017- " I have been around Nadia since day one of her coming to the farm. She was petrified then and it took a very long time for her to trust enough and let her guard down. Now that plenty of time has passed, she has come into her own and has grown to be a very confident, stubborn, sneaky little rascal. Only on her terms and on familiar grounds does she exhibit that crazy side of her. Today, bringing her down to an unfamiliar place, she panicked and froze. She was out o f her element and didn't know what to do. Once inside the yard along with Hank as her companion, she began to explore. She was however, very curious about the angel statue. She gave it a good stare down and later decided it wasn't much of a threat to her. Then came the poodle statue/decoration. It was a lot smaller and clearly gave off some type of bad vibe to her. She kept her distance from that. She ignored Hank and kept sniffing around. She did start to loosen up with some happy tail wags and hints of wanting to chase after a tennis ball. She will need some more office time to get more comfortable in another space for sure. She can be the sweetest most loving girl, then again, she can also be the sneakiest of them all. I have dubbed her "naughty Nadia". She's got the making of a great companion for someone, but it's her time now to show everyone else how wonderful she really is, it will only require us to do our part and help bring that out of her...." How I act when I first meet new people: Very timid at first House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. My age: 2 years old, est birthdate 3/11/2014 Note that this description and Cashew are very much similar for we believe the girls are sisters. Nadia is just slightly more outgoing than Cashew. Please note - we do not ship dogs.
