Posted Breed: Jack Russell Terrier / Corgi / Mixed (short coat). My name is MoMo! I am a 7 year old male JRT/Corgi mix that weighs fifteen pounds. I am the sweetest boy in the whole world! I love the cuddles and the love my foster mommy gives me. I love the cuddles so much that whenever foster mommy thinks I have had enough of her petting, I nudge her hand and give her my puppy looks so that she keeps doing that wonderful petting. When I first came to my foster house I was scared since it's the first time away from my old family, but it didn't take me long to start feeling "wag my tail like crazy" happy. My story is not that happy. I spent the first 7 years of my life with a loving caring family, but apparently I seem to not get along with toddlers and they had to make the heart-breaking decision of helping find another happy home, so that's how I came to LuvFurMutts. I would prefer a home with older kids! Those are awesome and dont bother me as much (haha!). I dont mind dogs or cats, so we are good on that end. I am good on the leash and I love my walks! I am house trained so I take my potty outside when I am on my walks. I am also crate-trained and I don't make a peep when my foster mommy has to go. I am silly and love doing silly stuff like crawling and scratching my back with the carpet. I just want a second chance at finding my furever home! Could you be my furever home? *Please note, LuvFurMutts Rescue cannot guarantee age, breed(s) or adult size of the dog. We do our best on their bio based on our veterinarian's assessment. Rascal

    Breed: Cojack
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Senior
    Location: Cookeville, TN
Posted Breed: Corgi / Jack Russell Terrier / Mixed (short coat). This dog is located in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $150 in TN, $200 plus transportation fee for out of state adoptions. Sweet yet a tad bit shy, that’s our adorable guy Rascal! His short stature and perky pretty ears lead us to think he is a Corgi/Jack Russell Terrier mix. Rascal is a perfect apartment size at 23 pounds, and this 7 year old sure is eager to please. He may take a few flirty minutes to completely warm up, but it doesn’t take long before he is running cute Corgi circles around you. Rascal is a ‘man’s best friend’ kind of guy and loyally looks forward to time spent with his care takers. He is currently in a wonderful boarding facility, and will even sometimes stand on his two back feet to greet a new visitor. He is crate trained and currently learning to ‘sit’ and also working to acquire all his other obedience skills as well. He is good with other dogs, and would do fine with a four legged fur sibling of his own. Rascal also does great on a leash and is even already microchipped! He came to us heartworm positive but is currently on a less intense form of treatment and will be back to perfect before we know it! We think Rascal will make a devoted canine companion for just the right family. Won’t you apply to adopt him today? If you are interested in this pet but have questions that are not answered here, please fill out our Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. The first step to adopting is to complete our online Adoption Application: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-app/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide, so distance is not a problem in most areas. We have a variety of transportation options to bring your new family member to you. Typical transport cost to the northeast is $150, but may be less depending on your location (Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA residents.) How To Adopt | Adoption Application | Pet Inquiry Form | Long Distance Adoptions A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Adoption donations vary and are subject to change without notice. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for feline leukemia and FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
