Overview: The Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog was used on the old Plantations in Southern Georgia around the Alapaha River. They nearly reached extinction, before efforts to bring them back. Ottos make great watchdogs.

Care: These dogs need to be bathed 2-3 times per month. The short hair requires little care, but occasional brushing helps with shedding, which is minimal.
