Overview: The Kromfohrlander was developed in Germany after World War 2 from a US military troop's mascot dog (that was found in France). They are an outstanding companion breed, is suspicious of strangers and new situations but loves its family. Continued socializing is important.

Care: bath infrequently and brush occasionally
Training: Kromfohrlanders adjust to their owner's lifestyle (train as you go). First time owners should take a puppy class. They do well with obedience or agility only with a very patient trainer.
Activity: regular exercise in the yard or on leash. They love exploring nature with their owner or just fetching a ball or disc.
