  • Samoyed-Siberian Husky Mix Dog For Adoption in Campbell, CA, USA

    Nala

    rescue
    Breed: Samoyed-Siberian Husky Mix
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Siberian Husky / Samoyed / Mixed (medium coat). All of our foster dogs are kept in individual homes. Go to our website Bayareasiberian.org to get the foster home contact if you do not see it in the bio. Nala is a gorgeous 5 year old Samoyed/ husky with blue eyes, with a thick Samoyed coat. I have noticed that she actually walks fairly well on leash She will need some work on this behavior. She seems to do much better with dog to dog introductions off leash (in a secured area). She seems to enjoy the company of small dogs also She doesn’t like the other dog coming on too strong but if the other dog is respectful of her space she warms up. She can also be cautious of new people, but again if they go slow she is soon very accepting and seeks attention. She needs time to warm up to someone new. She likes being pet and cuddling. She has been having a great time going through the toy basket and especially likes playing ball. She rides well in the car and is crate trained. Positive reinforcement and gentle training should go a long way in making Nala feel more secure in her surroundings. She is a nice dog that has been through alot in life we believe. She needs a family that would like a companion. She is a spayed Female, 5 years old, Housetrained, Crate Trained, Lead Trained, good with Children, good with Large Dogs, has Rabies vaccinations, has DHLPP vaccinations, microchipped. Go to BAYAREASIBERIAN.org for contact information on the foster dog.

    Charlie

    Breed: Alaskan Malamute
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Alaskan Malamute (medium coat). All of our foster dogs are kept in individual homes. Go to our website Bayareasiberian.org to get the foster home contact if you do not see it in the bio. Charlie is a little shy at first meeting, but he warms up to you with just a little bit of patience and maybe a few treats do the trick. He h is a typical Alaskan Malamute. he needs to be useful and have a purpose that he shares with his master. He is full of energy, playful, fun and ready to go. He likes care rides, walks and play. He starts off on his walk pulling just a little, but then settles down. Charlie really does not want to be alone, he is a people dog, but because of his Sheppard background he wants to protect his owner and their property. He is respectful of your belongings. He sits and waits for his food bowl to be place on the ground before attacking it with gusto. He is still working on his basic commands like DOWN, STAY/WAIT so some basic obedience schooling would be a good and fun thing to do as he wants to please. Charlie also loves to be brushed and handled ...he just needs someone who can set the boundaries and hold him to it.. Children should be older teenagers. No children and no other dogs in the family. No small animals such as chickens, rabbits or cats please though, pretty please. Go to BAYAREASIBERIAN.org for contact information on the foster dog.
