Posted Breed: Siberian Husky (medium coat). All of our foster dogs are kept in individual homes. Go to our website Bayareasiberian.org to get the foster home contact if you do not see it in the bio. Jester is a three year old male who was found in Gilroy CA. He is a super friendly dog who loves everyone he meets. He walks well on a leash and will sit for treats. He is good in a crate and absolutely loves going for rides. He is polite in the car and sits looking ahead without bouncing around or hanging out the window. He is gentle with children and enjoys the company of gentle children. Jester will do best with a owner that is willing to take the time to attend training classes and enjoys the outdoors. He was a adopted by a family that decided they really wanted a lab type dog....he cuddles like a siberian but not like a lab would.. He is a great SIBERIAN who acts like one (a very good one) so if you are looking for a siberian....check out this boy Go to BAYAREASIBERIAN.org for contact information on the foster dog.

Go to our website Bayareasiberian.org to get the foster home contact if you do not see it in the bio. Karen Fenton fendragn1970@yahoo.com Hello! I'm Reesa. I'm nine months old and great with small children and humans of all ages. I love to cuddle with my humans and play all day with my foster brother. I am timid at first, but full of energy and curiosity! I do well on walks and at the dog park with everyone I meet. I am not good in my own home territory with other female dogs, so I need to be the only female dog in my new forever home. I am full of loyalty and love and hoping to find that perfect forever home where I can be the only dog or have a male playmate of any larger breed. I was found wandering in a park where I'd been feeding myself for some time. My foster family hopes that my forever home will not have smaller prey-type animals, just in case. I am getting great at leash lead and crate training. Wonderful with children, Lead trained, crate trained, good with male dogs Go to BAYAREASIBERIAN.org for contact information on the foster dog.

Go to our website Bayareasiberian.org to get the foster home contact if you do not see it in the bio. Summit is being returned to rescue after 4 years. He was the companion to another dog and now that dog has passed and the family has decided they don't want a siberian. He is good inside. He's good with kids (really good actually), big and small dogs, no cats and walks on leash. He is non aggressive with strangers and allows anyone to pet and play with him. He will try and chase cats if they cross his path but if you don't allow slack on the leash he will stop and sit. NO CATS He is NOT an escape artist, but if you leave a gate open, he will run out it. Go to BAYAREASIBERIAN.org for contact information on the foster dog.

Go to our website Bayareasiberian.org to get the foster home contact if you do not see it in the bio. Foster dad is Nic- northerndreamz@earthlink.net Max is a 3 year old Siberian Husky that is a delight to walk on a leash. He knows the basic commands of sit and down. Max is a high energy dog that loves to play in water as well as with balls and other toys. Max is in heaven if you pile all the toys in a tub of water and he will spend the next hour fishing them out. A bit of an acrobat Max can easily jump 5 foot fences and can climb objects, like chainlink fences or trees with low branches, much higher. He gets along with other dogs both large and small but some caution needs to be observed with smaller or older dogs as Max likes the rough and tumble stuff. He is very smart and a very quick learner. While he is exceeding charming he will try to manipulate people into doing what he wants. He needs a person that understands northern breed dogs and that will work with him.Given the right training it will work to all's advantage. He is a fun dog. The ideal home for Max is one that has had previous experience with Northern breeds, has at least one other high energy dog as a companion, fences that are 6 foot or better and no cats or small animals or birds. A good sense of humor is a must. Go to BAYAREASIBERIAN.org for contact information on the foster dog.

Posted Breed: Alaskan Malamute (medium coat). All of our foster dogs are kept in individual homes. Go to our website Bayareasiberian.org to get the foster home contact if you do not see it in the bio. Charlie is a little shy at first meeting, but he warms up to you with just a little bit of patience and maybe a few treats do the trick. He h is a typical Alaskan Malamute. he needs to be useful and have a purpose that he shares with his master. He is full of energy, playful, fun and ready to go. He likes care rides, walks and play. He starts off on his walk pulling just a little, but then settles down. Charlie really does not want to be alone, he is a people dog, but because of his Sheppard background he wants to protect his owner and their property. He is respectful of your belongings. He sits and waits for his food bowl to be place on the ground before attacking it with gusto. He is still working on his basic commands like DOWN, STAY/WAIT so some basic obedience schooling would be a good and fun thing to do as he wants to please. Charlie also loves to be brushed and handled ...he just needs someone who can set the boundaries and hold him to it.. Children should be older teenagers. No children and no other dogs in the family. No small animals such as chickens, rabbits or cats please though, pretty please. Go to BAYAREASIBERIAN.org for contact information on the foster dog.
