    Breed: Italian Greyhuahua
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Adult
    Location: Arlington, WA
Posted Breed: Italian Greyhound / Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat). Pacifica Pacifica is a little spayed 6lb Italian Greyhound mix, who was left behind by her owners when they moved away. A friend rescued her from starvation and Rompin Paws Agreed to be her rescue. She has been spayed, Microchipped, vaccinated and heart worm tested (negative) is up to date on vaccinations and has had a fecal test (neg) Pacifica is shy at first due to what she has been through. she warms up with trust and then is very playful. She will be shy when strangers come over, and may hide somewhere quiet. Pacifica seems to do well with older, dog savvy children over the age of ten as observed in her foster home. No young children or children who have not been raised with dogs please. Pacifica is a sweet lapdog, playful and sweet, who will make an awesome companion with a little Patience, time and trust. Adopting a Dog requires a lot of work and is a commitment! Pacifica will be an awesome addition to a family that can give her the attention, exercise, training and affection she deserves. Healthy dogs: As a rescue saving dogs from starvation, Neglect and Emaciation, RPR focus's on feeding each rescue animal the healthiest dog food made of Human Grade ingredients to help them recover from their stress and starvation. We share this with our adopters and encourage them to keep their new pet on the same foods for optimal health and a long life. OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR DOG ADOPTION: 1) These dogs are not livestock dogs. They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home. 2) We give preference to applicants with prior small breed knowledge/ experiences. 3) Secure visible fencing required. 4) You must have plan in place to socialize your dog properly. 5) Please do NOT write us and ask if this dog is available. If it is posted, it is available. BUT, we may be working other applications that came in before yours. If so, by the time you are approved, the dog may not be available. 8) The FASTEST way to be considered for a dog is to fill out an application. If you write, it will delay your application and put you to the back of the line. All the persons processing applications are volunteers that have their own dogs, families and job responsibilities. We do our best to get applications done quickly but applications for adult dogs come before puppy applications. There is always someone that will want to adopt a puppy. Health: Pacifica has been spayed , she is microchipped, current on DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies. He has been wormed and flea treated, tested negative for heartworm and Parvo History: Pacifica was going dumped in overcrowded shelter in California. Rompin Paws Rescue was asked to help to rescue her to keep her out of the shelter and we are so glad we did. All dogs RPR pulls from California come with health certificates, as required by Washington state Law. Adoption: If you think you have room in your home and heart for Dixie please go to our website: http://rompinpawsrescue.rescuegroups.org/ There you will find more information and be able to fill out an adoption application. Adoption Fees Adoption fee is 495.00 this covers transport and adoption and medical such as certain vaccines, worming and parasite, and flea/tick control, health certificate and wellness exam We bring dogs from up from California. so there are transportation costs for each dog. Then the dogs need to be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, groomed, and sometimes boarded if we can't place them in a foster, or set up at the adoption facility in Arlington, Also, we don't receive any grants so we rely solely on adoption fees and donations to fund all of our rescue efforts. Finally, we take on "Special Needs" dogs with high vet costs and pay for their procedures with 'leftover' funds from adoption fees for healthier dogs. About Rompin Paws Rescue Rompin Paws Rescue is a licensed, non-profit organization working towards our 501C3, specializing in rescuing moms to be, moms with puppies, puppies without moms and other Death Row dogs. We are located in Western Washington State. Our passion is to bring people and pets together. Countless dogs are without homes and in need of assistance. These are dogs who would make wonderful and faithful companions if only they could connect with the right person or family. We have made it our mission to help them do this. At the same time we hope to enrich the lives of those who adopt them. We strive to match our dog's needs and personality to the preferences and requirements of each potential adopter. We believe this is a crucial component of the process and will help ensure a life-long relationship. Our primary focus is on small mixed breeds, moms and puppies of small and large breeds, although we do occasionally take in larger dogs. We work collaboratively with shelters, other rescue groups, and individuals, both locally and in California.. RPR was established in April, 2015. we placed 400 dogs in our first year of operation in a small facility on Acreage in Arlington Washington. PETSMART ADOPTION DAY 21ST JAN 11AM-3PM 6572 LAKE WORTH BLVD FORT WORTH TX Holly a stunning girl. Super active and all around fun. She is looking for an active home, or simply one that she will get to run and play, or be that running buddy. She is 18 months old. Approx 50lbs, and could fill out a bit more but not too much. Holly loves people and likes to play with others, she finds it fun to play around with her foster siblings. She would not be a match for an apartment dog. She would love a home that has a yard she can get to play around in and enjoy times with her family. Holly loves to snuggle up in doors when its time to rest or its night time too. Her foster mom crates her whilst she goes to work or has errands to do. She is good around children, but because she is active it might be best to match her with older kids on a regular basis. Posted Breed: Australian Shepherd / Collie / Mixed (short coat). Please contact Liz (elizabethjeffcoat@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet. PETSMART ADOPTION DAY 21ST JAN 11AM-3PM 6572 LAKE WORTH BLVD FORT WORTH TX Blake a gorgeous boy, and a sweetheart too. Born approximately 28 March 2016.He is still growing and we believe will end up about 50lbs. He is good with other dogs, and would be a submissive dog. He loves people and enjoys all the attention when given. He would need more practice going on walks, but has done very well on a leash so far. Whilst he loves to be outside in the nice weather, he wouldn't want to be out for long lengths of time. His foster mom has him in a crate at night so he has learnt to be crate trained. It also helps when you have to leave your home and he is safe and you don't worry about anything being chewed up! Blake is also social around children. Playtime would be great with you, the kids or dogs. We think Blake is a handsome boy with a great personality. His adoption includes age appropriate vaccinations, worming, rabies vaccination, heartworm test (dogs over 6 months), neuter, and microchip including registration. Posted Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Meet Miss Maybelle, our brindle bully girl who is full of social graces and southern charm. Maybelle was found wandering as a stray with one of her puppies soon after giving birth. She was in need of some medical care and TLC, but is fully recovered now, and ready to start her new life. Maybelle was initally fostered in a very active home, with two teen girls and 4 other dogs, both large and small, and she adjusted quickly to home life. Maybelle is bully mix who’s about 2 to 3 years old and has a shorter frame, but weighs around 50lbs. She is an easy going, friendly, good-natured dog who loves people. Her favorite place to be is hanging out on the couch with you. Her foster mom, Carol, describes her as “a sweet little bundle of cuddles.” Maybelle is a very social pup who will make an excellent family dog. She would do best in a home with kids or another dog to hang with. She loves playing almost as much as she loves car rides and snuggles, but she has a moderate energy level and is laid-back dog in the home…a perfect combo. She walks pretty well on leash, is crate trained and house trained, and her foster family lets her have free roam of the home when they’re around. If you are looking for an all-around great dog who’s calm but playful, knows the rules of home life, and will be a great companion to your pup or kids, apply to learn more about Maybelle today.
