Posted Breed: Poodle (Miniature) / Mixed. Axton is a handsome poodle mix who has the tight poodle hair. His coat is white with the ends more of an apricot in along his back. He is super sweet and and just thrives on attention. Axton likes to sit up and beg and will also hop around on his back legs in poodle fashion. He is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, tested negative for heartworm and now current on preventatives. He is also now neutered. He gets along great with female dogs but does try to take the alpha role with other males. So he will need a home with no other male dogs. If you are interested in possible adoption please go to www.DelawareRescue.com and complete our online adoption application. If you are interested in adopting please read the information here and then complete our online adoption application. One of our volunteers will contact you once the application has been processed. Breed: German Shepherd Dog-Labrador Retriever Mix
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Young
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 345.00. All LnF pups/dogs have been temperament tested, live in foster homes ~ All pups/dogs have been housebroken (puppies are paper trained) crated trained, have had basic training ~ Guaranteed to still love people & get along with other dogs ~ All pups/dogs have been Microchipped ~ Tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia & Lyme ~ Each dog is on Heartworm Medication & Flea/Tick year round while in our care ~ Up to date with Rabies ~ Distemper, Parvo & Leptospirosis vaccines ~ de-wormed twice. ** Be sure to watch Glenny's videos below showing her playing with her foster sisters & just lounging around. *** I know when you saw Glenda’s photo you said to yourself "What a beautiful dog!" and you would be right. Her photos don't even do her justice. She's so pretty & a real doll. Sweet, lovable & very playful. Being young -- she being taught by a professional dog trainer to have good manners & taking her thru the basics commands. Glenny's very favorite thing to do is take a nice walk with her backpack & she walks beautifully on a leash. She will require someone who has experience at basic dog training to keep up with her training. As her foster Mom, I really enjoy watching my rescued dogs “learn” how to play. She came from a very poor rural area of KY where dogs are left outside chained up to dog houses (if they are lucky enough to HAVE a dog house!) their whole lives. They never have a normal puppyhood so if they are fortunate enough to be rescued, they even have to learn to hugged, petted, told how they are SO pretty, fed regularly & water available whenever they need it & plenty of treats & toys – well there is a real joy that you can see in their eyes. They have to learn how to play with dogs & even toys & Glenny has excelled at both. She loves everyone humans & other dogs. She is a medium sized girl who will be around 60 lbs full grown. So if you are looking for a young former Kentucky Woman, who seems to be part yellow Lab, Shepherd & with a dash of Hound (she has a very odd deep baritone bark for such a small girl) who wants nothing more than to be a part of your family --- you should consider adopting her. Be sure to read our adoption requirements firs t & if you can meet or exceed them you can apply at our website. A 4-foot high fence would be acceptable for Glenda. A minimum 4-foot high fence is always mandatory – there are no exceptions to a physical fence & we do not accept any type of electric fence. Every LnF dog lives in a foster home & have been thoroughly temperament tested to guarantee a sound disposition, loves people & is fine with other dogs. Each has been evaluated by the *ASPCA Meet Your Match Program.* Our goal is to help you adopt a dog not just by a photo -- but one that fits your lifestyle.

    Sunshine

    rescue
    Breed: Labrador Retriever-Unknown Mix
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Baby
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Sunshine is a delightful spirited puppy. She’s full of personality & she’s just a very happy little pup. Sunny is a lovely shade of red – she has the color of a Redbone Coonhound but she’s a Lab & maybe a little bit of hound. She seems to have no concept that she is only a puppy & most of her foster siblings are adult dogs so she continues to chase them trying to get them to engage but generally they are not delighted to be bothered by this little kid. Thankfully she does have smaller dogs to play with like Sable & Jackie. If she were to be adopted with another dog --- it would have to be a young playful dog who would love to play with her all day. I think that Sunshine is going to be a striking lovely adult dog between her color & her very pretty face. I believe full grown she may go up to about 55 lbs. When we wake up in the morning & I go to her crate to let out her potty, her tail is wagging like crazy & she looks SO happy to see me as if I’ve been gone for a week instead of just overnight. Sunny always rolls over to get me to rub her belly & her ears before she is ready to go potty outside. I always tell her what a pretty girl she is! She sleeps thru the night from 930 to about 7 AM. She never potties in her crate & since she’s crated trained if she did need to potty --- she would let you know – which is the point of getting them to understand that we potty outside -- not inside the house. She is a people loving little girl & she loves dogs. To adopt a puppy from LnF Dog Rescue we do require that the family has raised a puppy as an adult. We believe that like children, puppies need to be “raised” not left in a crate all day. If they well socialized as pups --- they will be well-behaved dog citizen. Again when they are this young, they need to have someone who works from home or part-time or willing to hire a petsitter or family member who can come daily to give her a potty break at least twice a day. If you are in Delaware we can recommend pet sitter or doggie day care. If she sounds like the kind of little girl you would love to bring into your life be sure to read our adoption requirements & if you can meet or exceed them you can apply on our website. All LnF pups/dogs have been temperament tested & live in foster homes ~ All pups and dogs have been housebroken (puppies are paper trained) & crated trained ~ All pups/dogs have been Microchipped ~ Tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia & Lyme ~ Each dog is on Heartworm Medication year-round while in our care ~ Up to date with Rabies ~ Distemper, Parvo & Leptospirosis vaccines ~ Wormed. Our adoption fee includes (30) days of FREE pet insurance with an option to purchase, but it's your choice. We strive to provide the BEST medical care available so that YOU are assured all our pups/dogs are healthy, up-to-date on all necessary shots, spayed or neutered by our rescue. Adoption Requirements: *A minimum physical 4-foot high fence or is higher is always mandatory and must be installed. Some dogs may need a 6-foot wood or vinyl fence & if so it's noted on their profile. We will not consider any applications that does not have an installed fence. We do NOT accept any type of electric fence, no exceptions.
