Dog's Name: Wanda Estimated Breed : Collie/hound mix Approximate Age: 6-7 months Approximate Weight: approx. 25 lbs? Currently Living at: Boarding Adoption Fee: $300 DOG'S DESCRIPTION This precious pup was rescued along with her brother, Hank. She is very sweet and gets along great with other dogs. She's a little shy but just needs someone to show her some love and make her feel safe. She ended up in a high-kill shelter in Georgia and then was transported to us so that's a lot of change in her short little life. Won't you adopt this sweet girl and show her life can be good? Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (for dogs over 6 months old), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
