    Breed: Siberian Husky
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Adult
    Location: Memphis, TN
Posted Breed: Siberian Husky (medium coat). Thanks for choosing rescue! All of our rescues are temperament tested around children of all ages, small and large dogs and cats. They all have basic training, IE; sit; down, come and walking on a lead. We are not a shelter, we are a rescue and all of our rescued dogs are kept in individual foster/volunteers homes. This gives them sometimes their first taste of having a family and being part of that family. Also, it provides us with the understanding of each individual rescue to match them to your family lifestyle and dynamics. As soon as we receive your application back, we will phone you to set up a home visit/meet & greet. If you are out of our area, we would request another rescue and/or veterinary office complete the home visit. Our adoption fees are based on the cost of vetting, transport and care for each one of our dogs individually. Each Photo has adoption fee at bottom of description. All of our rescues are completely vetted prior to adoption. Also, completed prior to adoptions are heartworm treatments as needed, any medical conditions treated (IE; allergies, demedex, etc.) and any surgeries for dogs coming into the rescue injured (IE; car accidents, etc.). Below is the vetting that all of our rescues receive prior to adoption. We only pull dogs from shelters and approximately 80% of our rescues come into the rescue heartworm positive. Those rescues are treated for heartworms prior to adoption. She is housebroken, crate trained, non-destructive and loves peanut butter treats. She is great with all dogs big or small, children and adults. rescue
    Breed: Siberian Husky
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Young
    Location: Memphis, TN
Posted Breed: Siberian Husky (long coat). Jade is 18 months and just a lovergirl! Jade is a wolfdog and will only be adopted to a State that allows hybrids. So please check with your State prior to inquiring.. Jade was rescued from a Jackson, TN veterinarian where she had been abandoned by her owners family after the owner was deployed in the military. Jade was not abused, but she was shooed away and not socialized around people. We have been working with Jade now for a month, she is housebroken and will come in and out of the house to do her business. She has learned to trust her foster Mom. She is still timid and scared of men unless they get down on her level and let her come to them. Jade is sweet with children, but we think the best placement would be with older children (10y/o or older), only because if she gets spooked she could accidentally knock down a toddler. Jade is very affectionate to her foster Mom, Jade is learning to walk on a lead which is still a very scary proposition for her. She does get scarred with loud noises like cars, etc. So we walk her with a harness and also securing the lead through the collar as well where she cannot back out of the harness. Please check back on Jade progress if you are interested in giving this gorgeous girl a forever home. All of our rescues are temperament tested around children of all ages, small and large dogs and cats. They all have basic training, IE; sit; down, come and walking on a lead. rescue
    Breed: Siberian Husky
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Adult
    Location: Memphis, TN
Posted Breed: Siberian Husky (long coat). Buddha is ready for the right forever home for him. Buddha is a 6 y/o low content wolfdog and can only be adopted to a State that allows hybrids. So please check your State laws prior to inquiring. Buddha had been in a cage for the first five years of his life with little human contact. Buddha has been crate trained and loves head massages. We have had Buddha in our rescue for months and he is doing better now, he loves his foster Mom and will let her pet and brush him, but he is still extremely fearful of new people. It took a couple of months with a 50 foot lunge lead to get him in and out of the house to do his business, but now he comes in and out with just a little corralling. He would be perfect for a retired person(s) or someone that has time to let him become comfortable and feel safe. For the last couple of months he goes in and out by being herded back into the house where he goes straight back into his crate which is a safe place for him. Buddha has no concept of walking on lead, even in the yard he is fearful and spooks unless if is only him and his foster Mom. Buddha LOVES other dogs and it has been joyous to see him get to run and romp and wag his big tail many times daily with his Husky friends. Buddha is cat or small dog safe. He is excited to see children, but does not get close enough to interact or be petted. Buddha would do best with children 12 y/o or older. We believe if Buddha had a couple of people and one other dog as a companion he would keep improving. Thanks for choosing rescue! All of our rescues are temperament tested around children of all ages, small and large dogs and cats. They all have basic training, IE; sit; down, come and walking on a lead.
