    Breed: Rat-Cha
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Adult
    Location: Philadelphia, PA
Posted Breed: Chihuahua / Rat Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Meet Pumpkin Spice, now nicknamed Spice Girl, Spumpkin and Spicy. She is terrier mix - perhaps rat terrier and chihuahua but that is a complete guess! Pumpkin Spice is a cute little thing with a bit of an attitude. She is working with her foster mom to tone that down a bit. :) A middle aged woman, she is looking for a dog experienced lap to snuggle on and home without children. She snores (a little loudly), walks pretty well on a leash, is crate trained, LOVES toys and really loves learning new things. In her foster home, she's picking up tricks like riding on a skateboard and jumping through a hoop. This little spice girl also likes to push boundaries so she is looking for a mom/dad who will be consistent with rules, keep her from becoming overexcited and help her have an active, happy and stress free life where she can thrive. Pumpkin Spice is looking for a home without other animals, as she would do best as your one and only canine family member. Watch her videos: Location: Foster Care Breed: Chihuahua & Rat Terrier mix (Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label) Age: 6-10 years Weight: 8 lbs Reason for surrender to shelter: Pumpkin Spice came to the shelter because she needed a home that could provide time and training for her to adjust. If you are interested in meeting Pumpkin Spice please email dogs@phillypaws.org for an application. If you have questions, please email the above address or contact our adoption staff member at 215-545-9600, ext. 69 or 70. Cooper

Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier-Unknown Mix
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Adult
    Location: Philadelphia, PA
Posted Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Cooper wants to be your one and only pet so he can have all your attention for himself. He's energetic and loves to play. Cooper is small for a pit bull - he's really a pocket pittie! Cooper will not be comfortable in a home with other dogs, but he hasn't expressed an opinion on cats yet. He could live with older, dog-experienced children. His foster parent says "He is a super lovable guy so it's difficult to get a picture of him because he likes to cuddle up on laps. He knows sit, shake, and down and is a very smart dog. There hasn't been a person yet that Cooper hasn't loved. My neighbor's daughter always asks me if Cooper has been adopted yet and if she can come play with him. A lot of people think that he's a puppy because he is so small and cute. He is definitely a nosy nelly and loves to investigate everything."
