    Te Fiki

    verified

    rescue
    Breed: Plott Hound-Unknown Mix
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Baby
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Plott Hound / Mixed. * Female Plott Hound mix * Approximately 3 months old * Approximately 15 lbs. * House trained on a schedule * Crate trained * Okay with other dogs, not sure about cats * Dog respectful children 8 and older * Adoption fee: $500 All dogs with PUP are in private foster homes so we can provide our potential adopters the most current information available. Raising a puppy requires a lot of work and is a commitment! Te Fiki will be an awesome addition to a family that can give her the attention, exercise, training and affection she deserves. Due to the fact that this is a mixed breed puppy, we, nor our vets, cannot guarantee the size that your dog will be. Health: Te Fiki has been spayed and microchipped. She is current on her DHPP, Bordetella, and will need her Rabies at 4 months. She has been wormed and flea treated. History: Te Fiki comes from an overcrowded shelter in California. PUP was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs PUP pulls from California come with health certificates, as required by Washington state. Notes from Te Fiki's Foster Home: Te-Fiki is such a great puppy! She is the shyer and calmer of the two sisters, but is also super sweet. She loves to wrestle with her sister and chew on toys but she also loves to sit in your lap and be loved on. Her beautiful brindle coat is the icing on this little cupcake. She is much shorter than her sister with a stocky body and short legs but is still a solid little dog. She gets along great with my dogs, one big and one small. She is doing great in her crate, no crying or accidents, sleeps and eats in there and goes in as soon as I ask her. She is doing well with house training on a schedule, but with being such a young puppy, she hasn't learned to ask to go out yet. Te-fiki is a beautiful pup both inside and out and will make an amazing family addition. Note: The above description reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. Although PUP provides adopters up to the minute information on our dogs, we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners. Adoption: If you think you have room in your home and heart for this dog and you reside within Washington State, please go to our Adoption Information page. There you will find more information and be able to fill out an adoption application. ATTEND OUR NEXT PUP EVENT!!! (click here) Can you help save more dogs by Fostering? Become our fan on Facebook! PUP was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs PUP pulls from California come with health certificates, as required by Washington state. Notes from Moana's Foster Home: Moana is full of energy but not an overly excited puppy. She is very outgoing and just a really sweet girl who loves to wrestle with her sister but also lay still and get petted. Her dark face and dark eyes hold so much expression and watching her play in my yard with her brindle coat reminds me of a tiger! Moana is doing well with her crate, she sleeps and eats in it and has learned that she doesn't get her food bowl until she goes in.. She is quiet until the morning when she hears us up moving around, then she starts scratching at the crate door. It takes her a little bit to settle before letting her out but she is learning quickly. She is also doing great with house training. She is on a schedule and has not had any accidents in the house. She would do well with a family with kids to keep her busy, a couple that will get her out for exercise or a single person looking for a companion to hike or walk with. Whoever is lucky enough to adopt her will have a really amazing friend for life. Note: The above description reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. Bernie

    Breed: Chihuahua-Unknown Mix
    Sex: Male Male
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Chihuahua / Terrier / Mixed. * Male Chihuahua/Terrier mix * Approximately 2 years old * Approximately 9 lbs. * House trained on a schedule * Crate trained * Okay with other dogs, ok with cats * Dog respectful children 12 and older * Adoption fee: $425 All dogs with PUP are in private foster homes so we can provide our potential adopters the most current information available. Health: Bernie has been neutered and microchipped. He is current on his DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies. He has been wormed, flea treated, and tested negative for heartworm. History: Bernie comes from an overcrowded shelter in California. PUP was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs PUP pulls from California come with health certificates, as required by Washington state. Notes from Bernie's Foster Home: Bernie is a very smart and loving dog. He can initially be shy, but doesn't take much time to warm up and would be begging for belly rubs on his back with his tongue out. He spends most of his time running around and playing with his foster brother. he loves to spend time in the sun and rolling in his back. He loves walks and does well on leash. Bernie behaves very calm around strangers and other dogs. He is very good with kids and is friends with our cat. He would get the attention and wait at the door to go potty outside. He whines for a few minutes when put in a crate but settles down eventually and sleeps through the night without accidents. He is a very smart dog, quick learner and a total love bug. He is still young and needs a lot of play time and toys to chew. He find ways to climb out of play pen, so a home with a secure yard with space for him to play would be best for him. Note: The above description reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. Louie

    rescue
    Breed: Boxer-Mastiff Mix
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Boxer / Mastiff / Mixed. * Male Boxer mix * Approximately 5 years old * Approximately 65 lbs. * House trained * Crate trained * Okay with other dogs, not sure about cats * Dog respectful children 8 and older * Adoption fee: $400 All dogs with PUP are in private foster homes so we can provide our potential adopters the most current information available. Health: Louie has been neutered and microchipped. He is current on his DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies. He has been wormed, flea treated, and tested negative for heartworm. History: Louie comes from an overcrowded shelter in California. PUP was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs PUP pulls from California come with health certificates, as required by Washington state. Notes from Louie's Foster Home: Louie is a wonderful fellow. He is a Boxer mix, the shelter listed him as having some Mastiff mixed in there somewhere, about 5 years in age. Louie is crate trained and housetrained. When he first arrived he whined in his crate for a couple nights but quickly settled and has been quietly sleeping through the night since. He does need a secure crate as he is adept at figuring out how to get out, though upon doing so he has quietly meandered about the house without creating havoc. Louie gets along very well with both the large and small dogs in his foster home, male and female. He enjoys playing outside with a tennis ball. He rides quietly in the car. He gets along very well with his people, but does not have a good sense of his strength and fosters would therefore recommend no kids under age 10. With some leash work he would make a great hiking companion Note: The above description reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. Although PUP provides adopters up to the minute information on our dogs, we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners. History: Juniper comes from an overcrowded shelter in California. PUP was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs PUP pulls from California come with health certificates, as required by Washington state. Notes from Juniper's Foster Home: Juniper is a very sweet girl who is eager for approval. She seems to be more comfortable outside than she is inside, but as time goes by she is spending more time with us inside the house. She has had no accidents in the house and she is crate trained. She does well with the other dogs and with our cats. She is a little hesitant when she first meets someone. She just feels the need to be careful until she is sure you really do want her to come to you. Once she knows you are OK, she wiggles all over and gives tiny little kisses. She is quiet, except to alert and is quiet in her crate. She is still learning about the leash, but it won’t take her long to learn. She is very smart and quick to pick up on what is expected of her. She is not much of a lap dog, she prefers to sit on the floor by you, or to be outsider. Juniper is a great size and she is far from fragile. She would be a great companion for long walks or hikes. Note: The above description reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. PUP was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs PUP pulls from California come with health certificates, as required by Washington state. Notes from Marlo's Foster Home: This little goofball is a bundle of puppy fun! She is a bit shy at first but quickly opens up to a playful loving dog that loves playing with other dogs and toys. Although she may whine a little, Marlo is great in her crate - quiet with no accidents so far. She is working on house training but if given adequate time outside and a schedule, she seems to have no accidents. She appears to also be potty-pad trained. Marlo has a lot of energy and just runs around the yard. She loves to play with toys but if left alone can get into mischief, especially eating bark outside! She's not completely destructive but loves to explore new things. She walks well on a leash and could use continued socialization as we are still getting used to meeting new people and dogs. With a medium to high energy level, she loves to play hard but can settle down and be a couch potato. She is such a sweet and loveable puppy who would be great in an active household. Breed: Boxer
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Boxer (short coat). Olivia 7 years old Brindle & White Dog Friendly Cat Friendly House Trained Good with Children Fostered in Spokane, WA Hi, My name is Olivia. Everyone who meets me mentions how calm and gentle natured I am. I’ve got more than a bit of spice, but I know what is expected of a “good dog”, and yes I know who that “good dog” is; it is me. I keep my spice in check until it is appropriate and until I really know if I can trust ya. You see, I came from a CA kill shelter and there you only seemed to get a ticket out if you were a nondescript personality type. No questionable or deviant behavior worked. I watched, I learned, I’m a wise girl, and I minded my Ps & Qs (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mind_your_Ps_and_Qs); as a result, WHBR was allow to spring me! Okay let’s get the important stuff outa the way. I'm between 6-8 yrs old, spayed, house trained, and great with other dogs, but I’m not certain that I understand cats yet. This vexes me a bit, you see. I’m a quick study. I've sat and watched my neighbor Tom. We haven't been introduced, but Tom makes me very excited. I maintain my demeanor and cool, so far, just watching. Other dogs are a breeze, sorta like minions. I’ve got socializing with all my neighbors first thing every morning well under control. Speaking of minions, my foster mom has adapted very well to our routine. She takes me for a morning walk just before breakfast, bags poo with skill, and then fulfills my hunger appropriately once we get home. I'm so thankful to be out of that shelter! Training humans to be a good companion in return is a cake walk. My foster mom thinks I'm pretty great—I cannot tell her she is wrong there! Each morning, I greet her with a wiggle. The more I wiggle, the more she seems to brighten. See that’s when I know my spicy side is welcome and I ask for kisses and snuggles, and I get them. Go figure! These people are easy to figure out. Now that blasted cat, I gotta figure that one out. Mom tells me my forever family will be so happy with me, well, duh. Dang it, back to the stuff humans find important—I don't chew things up, I don't eat the Furniture. THAT’S a plus in itself, I hear. I'm house trained--when I need to go outdoors, I go to the door. Doesn't every good pup? I don't beg for food, again seriously? I don't bark or whine, I do very well in the kennel, how I survived the kill shelter. I’d prefer to be out, but heck we all do what we gotta do. Now, when you come home, all the tables turn: you get all my spice, every wiggle I got, every kiss you need, every hug and love you want; your wish is my command. Put up your feet, give me a lap, and we’ll show ya what you missed today. Every and each time I will greet you with a lot of wiggles, promise. That sounds like a New Dance: the Boxer Wiggle! As long as you learn the rules, and once I’m secure and my future is true, you’ll get a little more spice. I will be your forever friend, who will look up to you, and love you unconditionally. I'm very laid back, calm, and just happy to sit with you on the sofa. BTW, the sofa is where I take my naps and sleep, please don’t forget that important piece. I sleep all night, but every now and then I like to have a midnight snack (I was starved at the shelter, how can it be called that anyway), and then go right back to sleep. I'm very loyal and trusting as well as trustworthy. Seriously, gad with all this you need to know—what about me? I promise to always love you and protect you. I'm always a perfect lady, duh! Otherwise you would not fill out an application and give me what I want, BTW here is the app link bit.ly/WHBRadopt. https://www.facebook.com/pg/BoxerRescue/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1062376677226898 www.Wigglinhomeboxerrescue.org Email: wigglinhomeboxerrescue@gmail.com Phone (360) 723-0219
