Teegan- Teegan is such a sweet girl who wants a home of her own. Can we grant her wish and tell her someone is coming for her? She has been one of our longer placed dogs and even saw her brother find a home! This girl needs love! Teegan is a stunning young red fawn girl. She has a little black masking and a stunning personality once she warms up. She is still just a baby herself and just over a year old. She has come from a really crappy situation and deserves a soft place to land. She is a great girl and has come so far. She was so fearful at first she would not even stand but we have gotten to see her blossom. She is a gem of a girl and we know that she will make a great pet for the right home. She does need a home that is familiar with her breed as she is not going to be a dog that will handle a busy house hold of new people. She is amazing and we adore this sweet girl. She really is thriving and we adore her. But once she loves you there is no love like fila love! Oscar and Teegan came to us from a horrible situation. They had been produced by a crappy back yard breeder in AZ. He had held the two dogs for a family member till they were 4 mo old, and then the other person didn’t want them. Sadly he decided to dump the dogs on anyone that would take them. Another rescue stepped in. Which normally is a great thing, but this rescue had no idea what they were doing with the two pups and rather then giving them time to adjust they just kept passing them and passing them around. So they went from home to home. These puppies were passed countess times before a friend of ours offered to help. We were so glad that they did as these two would finally be in a place for a little bit that we could give them time to adjust. These two needed it. They were petrified, had no training and were shells of the dogs we knew they could be. We were thrilled to be able to get them into an experienced home that knew what she was doing and could help them out. Teegan is learning how to be a dog. She is learning to play, have a good time and that the world is not so scary. She is doing well and does great with other dogs, is learning about cats and even kids. She will need a home that knows the breed but has a soft personality for her breed. Its mostly fear. She is still learning to trust her foster mom, but once she does she is amazing. She loves to be anywhere you are and is a shadow. She is an amazing dog and we love her. We know that she will make someone an amazing family member who is willing to stick with her for the long haul. She is going to be worth it! She is a sweet girl who just wants to be loved. Teegan is up to date, dewormed, flea treated, and altered. She is house broken and does great in the crate. Although we prefer to limit her time to it as she likes to hide. She is learning basic commands but slow as she was so scared we worked on just being able to be petted first. She would cower in fear every time we saw them. She has really turned into an amazing girl with a heart of gold. She is doing great with other dogs and would love a home with another dog to show her the ropes. She is a great girl and we love her. She is an amazing girl who needs love We spend a lot of time trying to get to know the dogs in our program as best as we can. This means that we have spent time introducing them to dogs, cats, kids, animals, people and as many things as we can. We try to do as much as we can to evaluate them, both with in our group and if the dogs come from other rescues or shelters their evaluations as well. However dogs are individuals and will react to different situations differently. This means that we do not know how a dog will react in every situation. We give out our best guess based off information provided but the handler of a dog and the way they are introduced to a situation makes a huge impact. So if you have any questions of how to introduce a dog to your home, please let us know and we will provide as much info as we can from pamphlets to helping find a trainer in your area. Our rescue aims to help dogs who are passed by and over looked by most rescues and people. We help the dogs who are in need of medical care, vetting, training and breeds that most will not help with. In most shelters if you are large dog, a big dog, or a male dog; from the moment you walk in you are on barrowed time. If you have docked ears or are a guardian breed your time was over before you walked in the doors. We aim to save these dogs and give them a second chance. Please help us save more lives by helping with our medical bills as they grow. This year has already been hard and we have many medical dogs in need. https://www.gofundme.com/v2eap2f8 If you would like to adopt this pet please send us an email.
