Posted Breed: French Bulldog / Labrador Retriever. Adoption Fee: 300. Adoption fee: $300 + $200 deposit (refundable after neuter) Location: Houston area Puppy Breath Alert Let's play, Let's play...My name is IVAN and I am a mix of French Bulldog/Unknown and I am oh so cute. My mother Gretel was surrendered by a person that found her stray and realized that she was pregnant and could not care for all of us. Myself and 5 other tail wagging siblings came into the world via C-section and we all have been growing like weeds. I am healthy, happy, eating puppy food on my own and learning all about toys. I am sweet, a robust boy puppy, moderate energy and love to nibble. Respectful children 10+ would be ok with me and I need a family where I can be let out multiple times a day to potty. I am now in search of my forever home, so if you would like to have a tail wagging good time fill out an adoption application today. Ivan will be adopted on a spay/neuter contract. The adopter will be responsible for finishing his puppy shots and having him neutered by 6 months of age. After proof of this is provided an Adoption contract will be completed and the adoption finalized. A neuter deposit is taken at time of approval of adoption and refunded after proof of vetting is provided.

More About French Bulldog Breed
If you’re looking to adopt a dog and don’t know where to start, puppyfinder.com is an excellent source for information about adopting a dog and will connect you with hundreds of shelters across the US that have adoptable puppies and older dogs waiting for forever homes.
  1. Do your research – find out what types of dogs would be a good fit for your lifestyle and the activity level of your family. Also keep in mind the grooming needs of certain breeds that might require frequent maintenance.
  2. Decide what you can handle – before you get sucked in by all the adorable puppy eyes you’re about to see, think long and hard about the appropriate age dog for your family or if you are capable of caring for a special needs dog. Puppies are a lot of work, if you don’t have time for potty training and obedience classes you’ll want to consider an older dog. There are plenty of middle aged, vibrant dogs up for adoption as well as many senior dogs that would be a great fit for a family looking for a more subdued dog with lots of love to give.
  3. Learn about the shelters and their adoption policies – It might be easier to start looking at shelters within a certain radius of home but don’t be afraid to venture out to other states as well. Many states have larger populations of adoptable dogs and their shelters are willing to transport pets to suitable adopting families. Some shelters might have requirements for a home visit, a fenced yard or require you to visit the pet multiple times before you commit to adopting. Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet.
  4. Start looking… Once you know what you’re looking for and what to expect you can start your search through thousands of adoptable dogs. PuppyFinder allows you to search by age, breed, location and gender.
  5. Meet in person. Whenever possible it is best to meet the animal in person before agreeing to bring them into your life. Even though photos and descriptions can tell you a bit about a dog, you can’t get a true feeling for the animal until you are able to interact with them and make sure they are a good fit for your entire family, including other pets.

      Breed: French Bulldog
      Sex: Male Male
      Age: Young
      Location: USA
Posted Breed: French Bulldog. Adoption Fee: 600. Adoption fee: $600 Location: Houston area Grant is an energetic, inquisitive boy who would thrive in an active household where he can get plenty of exercise and plenty of pets. Play hard and cuddle hard, that’s Grant’s motto! He loves playing fetch, chewing bones, and engaging in wild rumpuses with the resident frenchies. Grant was not cared for in his previous home so he came to foster care without many manners in the potty and socialization department. He is doing much better after his neuter. When Grant came to us he was covered in fleas and had some mild hair-loss. His hair is growing back and his itchyness is much improved. He is taking apoquel for the time being until his skin is better and he will need to be kept on a high-quality, grain-free food to keep his coat shiny and his skin clear. Grant is looking for a home where he can get plenty of attention and opportunities to play. He is not the type of dog who is content to curl up in a warm sunbeam and nap the day away—he craves stimulation and exercise and attention from his people. Grant can be rough so kids over 10 years are a must. A household with Frenchie experience is also a plus, as Grant is smart and obedient, but has that trademark bully stubborn streak, and will need lots of patience and positive reinforcement as he adjusts to his forever home. If Grant sounds like the dog for you, then give a click on the link below and tell us why you’d make a perfect match. He will be waiting for you!

      Ray and Bamb...

      Location: USA
Posted Breed: French Bulldog. Adoption Fee: 300. Adoption fee $300 Location: Austin area Greetings, my name is Ray and my bonded mate is Bambi, we come as a pair. We lost our loving home when our owner suddenly passed away. Because we are different breeds, me being a French Bulldog and Bambi being a Pug/Brussels Griffon we went to separate Rescue organizations and after numerous weeks of us trying to adjust it was clear we both needed to be back together, so here we are two peas in a pod. I am a handsome older gentleman who has a heart of gold and gets along with all the dogs in my foster home, young and old, my size all the way down to a tiny 2.4 lb dog. I am house trained and I do best with a regular potty schedule. I am crate trained although it is not my favorite place to be...I do best with Bambi by my side. I have a bit of a wonky walk, which is from my arthritis so a home without stairs is a must. Bambi and I do take daily Dasquin to help ease the stiffness. My daily joys include belly rubs, napping, patrolling the fenced backyard perimeters and I do love my treats! I will occasionally play with my favorite squeaky toy, but this is only when I feel a bit frisky. I am a bit hard of hearing, but don't worry I respond to a wave of a hand or if I am close I can hear you if you speak up just a little. I am a quiet boy who will only vocalize when you return home from a short outing and this is to let you know how very much I missed you. Let me introduce you to Bambi, she is my bonded mate and she is a beautiful Pug/Brussels Griffon southern girl that has impeccable manners. Bambi is beautifully house-trained, crate trained and also dog friendly. Neither Bambi or myself have any destructive behavior what so ever. Bambi enjoys sniffing around the yard, occasional sunbathing, rolling in the plush green grass, sleeping on the couch and she loves treats too! She isn't much for for toys or playing, but is a timid, loving, gentle wall flower type personality. We would both flourish in a less active, calm home with someone who is home most of the time. We currently do not share a home with children and the hustle and bustle of children would be to much us. We both love to follow you around the house as you do your daily chores and we are content sleeping in the bedroom at our foster home on those thick orthopedic beds. Best part, you won't hear a peep out of us all night, well ok maybe a little snoring from Bambi, but I don't snore at all. We hope you won't pass us by because we aren't young pups, we will bring sunshine to your home daily and we would be very grateful for a forever home. Don't wait a moment longer to apply for this sweet couple! Ray is bonded with his sister Bambi. She is being fostered with Ray, but is available for adoption through PugHearts Rescue of Houston. They come as a pair.

I was found as a stray and after all efforts were exhausted in the hopes to find my family, no one came to reclaim me. I am all ready to go and I can hardly wait to meet my forever family. I do have sight limitations and I am best suited in a family with children over 10 yrs old who are gentle and able to understand my needs. Also a home with no stairs is a must as I get a bit disoriented from time to time especially when I am in play mode. My foster Mom advises I do best if I am leash walked for potty breaks. I have a very outgoing personality and I have never met a stranger, human or dog. My days are spent playing with balls, running, playing and being petted by my human. I have a great personality, happy, loving and topped off with just the right amount of silly. So don't let Mr. Personality, me Rebel slip between your fingers, fill out my adoption application pronto, I will be waiting for you!

Posted Breed: French Bulldog / English Bulldog. Adoption Fee: 350. Adoption fee: $350 Location: Houston area Whoa Nellie......Hi folks, my name is Nellie and I was picked up as a stray and found myself in the shelter. My owners never came forward to claim me so SMRS came to rescue me and take care of my numerous medical needs. I had the largest cherry eye that anyone had ever seen and if that wasn't enough I had a deep ulceration on the same eye. I was filthy dirty and covered with fleas, but luck was on my side and I am happy to report I am heartworm negative. Unfortunately, my eye did have to be removed and I am getting along just fine without it and the pain is gone which is the best part of all. I am a sweet, happy girl who loves attention, running in a fenced yard, short walks around the block and in my spare time I am found chewing on a Nylabone curled up on my favorite blanket. I am not fond of small or large dogs at all, but I am quite happy with fur friends who are the same size as I am. I can be unpredictable so being an only dog is probably best for me. I am not compatible with cats or birds as I have to admit I love to chase both any chance I get. I am a independent, but stubborn bully girl and I can be crafty in getting what I want. I am crate trained, with no anxiety, but prefer to have company or at least a midday break. I like children and I will be best placed with a family with children 12 yrs and older. If you are ready to trade those boring evenings for a new, fun, best friend just grab my adoption application and and send it on over!
