Posted Breed: Great Pyrenees (long coat). Please fill out our short application - the link is below - we are FAST! Our applications are usually processed in less than 7 days but we have done one in less than 8 hours!! I'm a sweet, gentle, drooly guy who gains fans everywhere I go with my beautiful coat and giant Disney face. I love people so much that I will stand and lean against strangers at the vets office, or sit and let kids pet me at the burrito stand. I'm happiest in my foster moms lap, or at least where I can see her. I always let her know if someone is outside the house and make sure they don't dare come near unless she says it's ok. I come running when I'm called with a big happy smile, I sleep through the night, I love riding in the car and I love being walked on a leash (though I'm kind of a slow lumberer.) I love playing with my foster sister, but I sometimes feel anxious around male dogs, so I would be happiest in a household with only a mellow female dog, maybe a submissive male, or I could also be an only dog with a loving human companions. I haven't always had enough to eat or received enough affection, so I sometimes get anxious about food, or pushy about snuggling. I don't EVER try to take my foster sister's food, and only ever worry if I think someone will take mine. But as long as I'm left alone while I eat, I'll walk right by my foster sister eating and go lie down. I will even sit for treats right next to her, and patiently wait my turn. After just a few short months in my foster home with plenty to eat and plenty of love, I'm feeling more relaxed every day, and will continue to blossom with patience and understanding. All of our dogs require secure and VISIBLE fencing. Adoption Fee: $275* Note to NW Adopters: The adoption fee does not include the cost of transport. There are many things YOU can do to help us: 1. Adopt! If this Gentle Giant looks like the one for you, fill out an adoption application today! 2. Foster! This is a temporary commitment that gives all dogs in need the assured time to find the loving home they deserve. Your benevolent decision to foster unquestionably determines whether a loving dog gets to live or die. 3. Donate! Safeguarding these Gentle Giants result in expenses that are in upwards $8/day. If veterinary care is needed, the costs exponentiate to $1,000+ for a single dog. Every penny you donate makes an impact when it comes to vet bills! If you were to make a one-time donation of just $25, you would be adding 3 more valuable days to the life of every rescued dog and provide the chance to find the home they have been waiting for their entire life. As always, all donations are gratefully accepted. Posted Breed: Great Pyrenees (long coat). Please fill out our short application - the link is below - we are FAST! Our applications are usually processed in less than 7 days but we have done one in less than 8 hours!! Meet Paloma! Being with people is her favorite thing! She was born around 6/1/2014, and is full-sized at 85 pounds. This girl is very affectionate, sweet, easy going, and laid back. She likes to be right by you and help you do things, like helping you put your shoes and socks on by laying her head on your lap. She is friendly towards every one she meets. Paloma would be happiest as the only dog in her new home. Cats are her preferred furry companion! She likes getting cozy with her kitty twin in her foster home. She is house trained, leash trained, and rides well in a car. She has no need for a crate. She is mostly quiet, and will share her deep, gruff bark only when needed. She should not be placed with young children or the very elderly, because she is a hard sleeper and startles easily. Also she sometimes gets over enthusiastic and jumps on people. Foster mom is working to stop this habit, but we don’t anyone getting accidentally pushed to the ground. All of our dogs require secure and VISIBLE fencing. Adoption Fee: $300 * Note to NW Adopters: The adoption fee does not include the cost of transport. There are many things YOU can do to help us: 1. Adopt! Breed: Great Pyrenees
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Baby
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Great Pyrenees (long coat). Please fill out our short application - the link is below - we are FAST! Our applications are usually processed in less than 7 days but we have done one in less than 8 hours!! Meet Comfort! This sweetheart was born around 4/4/2017. She’s a lover girl! While she is a puppy and still needs a canine friend, she has shown that she is past most of the typical puppy behaviors. Comfort’s name is perfect for her; she wants to comfort all her humans with her love. She loves to lie on the couch and in your bed. She wants to be close to her human(s) as much as possible. Comfort is great with children of all ages. She gets along great with other dogs of all sizes and even cats. She does well on a leash, is housebroken, knows a couple of commands, and rides nicely in a car. Comfort is a laid-back girl who wants to be a part of a loving family. PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION: 1) These puppies are not livestock dogs. They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home. 2) Homes with youthful, playful dogs provide the pup with a mentor which facilitates a smooth integration into your household. 3) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone must be home at least part of the day. If you are away from home between 8-10 hours a day, please do not apply for a puppy as this circumstance is unfavorable for you and the puppy. 4) We give preference to applicants with prior Great Pyrenees experience or knowledge. 5) You must have a plan in place to properly socialize your puppy. 6) The FASTEST way to be considered for a puppy is to submit an application. We are continuously working through applications, including those that were received in advance of yours. It is very likely that by the time your application has been approved, the puppy may no longer be available. 7) Please do not inquire about a puppy's availability; the puppy is still available if the listing is displayed. Emailing for status updates will only result in a delay of your application review, and put you to the back of the line. All of the individuals responsible for reviewing applications are volunteering what little bit of time s/he has in addition to their own dogs, families, careers, and responsibilities. Though we do our best to evaluate ALL applications swiftly, submissions for adult dogs do take priority - there are an abundant amount of people that only want to adopt a puppy. All of our dogs require secure and VISIBLE fencing. Adoption Fee: $375 * Note to NW Adopters: The adoption fee does not include the cost of transport. There are many things YOU can do to help us: 1. Adopt! If this Gentle Giant looks like the one for you, fill out an adoption application today! 2. Foster! This is a temporary commitment that gives all dogs in need the assured time to find the loving home they deserve.
