Posted Breed: Havanese / Maltese / Mixed (long coat). Our rescue will be at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express Saturday, December 10th from 1-4pm and Sunday, December 11th from 12-3pm. All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application has been accepted. * We do not ship our dogs for any reason. * Our adoption fee is $400 for each dog/puppy. * If it is on a weekend of our adoptions, follow us on @DPSRescue on Twitter to get real time updates on our adoptions. We will also post at the end of the evening the names of those dogs who have been adopted: www.facebook.com/DPSRescue This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, December 10th from 1-4pm and Sunday, December 11th from 12-3pm or until adopted. However, we do meet with those who submit an application and are approved just prior to the event (by invitation only) and they are given the first opportunity to adopt. If you are interested in one of our dogs, we recommend filling out an application prior to the event to be considered. Applications submitted within 24 hours of the event may not necessarily be reviewed. S'mores is a Havi-Maltese puppy who is about 4 months old. A friend of our rescue was contacted and we were asked to take her and her brother in. Her home was no longer able to take care of her. S'mores has a non-shedding coat that is an option for those who have allergies or simply want a dog who doesn't shed. She will require regular grooming. We will look for a home that understands the grooming requirements and demonstrates such on the application. S'mores is friendly and outgoing. She's a total snuggler. She loves to cuddle and will sit in your lap all day long. She is a lover girl. She gets along well with other dogs. She lives with big and little dogs. She can hold his own with the best of them. She loves to play and she will gather all of the toys in the house into her bed and flop on top of them and then with a twinkle in her eye she'll challenge the other dogs to try and come get them! It's a nonstop game. And when she's all tuckered out she comes to flop over on her foster mom's lap and just enjoy some cuddle time. S'mores lives in a foster home with cats. Like her canine foster siblings she will try to play with the cats. The kittens had a blast with her but the adults were over her antics and let her know. She got it! S'mores is an option to go to work with Mom or Dad. She is an option to live in an apartment or condo setting. S'mores is only an option for a home that has had a dog in the last 3 years. If there are children in the home they need to be over the age of 8. **Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend) **If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.

He has a non-shedding coat that is an option for those who have allergies or simply want a dog who doesn't shed. He will require regular grooming. We will be looking for a home that knows the grooming needs of a dog like this and demonstrates that understanding and commitment in the application. Graham Cracker and his sister S'mores were relinquished to our rescue when the family that had an unexpected litter could no longer take care of the puppies. Graham Cracker is a little lover boy. He is a cuddler and a snuggler. He is also all puppy. Never forget that. He is full of life and his life is all about toys and friends. He currently lives with big and little dogs. He also lives with kittens. Graham Cracker is an option to join another dog in his new home. He has always lived with dogs for his short little life. But he also is a little guy who would love to be someone's one and only and get all the luvin' to himself! He's already rubbing his paws together in anticipating saying, "Yes! All that luv!" Graham Cracker is only an option for a home that has had a dog in the last 3 years. If there are children in the home they need to be over the age of 8. **Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event.
