Summerfield’s Reed Bran, a Havanese male born April 14, 2017, weighed in at 3 lbs. 4 oz. on his 46th day in the world. Reed is a dark chocolate covered Habanero puppy. He is snow white with dark brown markings. He has a brown nose and eye rings, and part of his lips have turned brown already. He has dark brown half masks that cover both of his eyes and most of both ears and which leaves a snow white band of hair as a natural parting in his coat. He also has a medium sized dark brown patch on his lower back. He is truly a handsome little doggie. Please check back for more photos and updates on his weight in the coming weeks. He is polite, loving and loyal. As a half grown puppy, when playing with his slightly older playmates, he would never jump up on the furniture to chase them, and rarely will he still. And he is as handsome a dog as he is polite. He has a beautiful brown nose and lips, a great look, and luxurious soft hair. He makes a great pillow and a great friend. His maternal grandfather and 4 of his 8 great-grandparents are listed as AKC champions. Born in April 2014, Freckles of Snuggles is the beta dog of our little pack, but only because she doesn't want the responsibility of the alpha. She is smart, easy-going and playful with other dogs. She is a wonderful mom to her puppies. Freckles is white with black markings. She has jet black ears and a large jet black patch on her lower back, and she has black "freckles" almost everywhere else. She is strikingly pretty. She has all the pigment markings specific to the Bichon Havanese including some real pretty "eye make-up".
