'Ranger is a red tricolor Border collie. He is one of the most fun and also the most challenging dogs I have ever had. He is super smart and playful but his drive to herd is very strong, and he extends it to cars. It took him three tries to pass his focus class because he is so distractable. His dam herds sheep, as does a sister. He also has a sister who is a titled dock diver. Ranger is learning the names of his toys, loves to play tug and fetch, and can sniff out 'his' stick onn a beach full of driftwood. When we take him to Tucson he will be started on sheep and hopefully we get the chance for dock diving as well. He loves to swim, kayak, and go for car rides. The challenge comes in walking him near roads. He will crouch, creep up, and try to chase cars, so I have to keep him on a tight leash. Like his sister, he likes to watch tv. See lots of videos of him and his fun-loving ways in the video section.

The puppies' dam is a stunning blue merle with one marbled eye. She is attentive, very food motivated for training, has excellent bone and conformation. She's super sweet amd wants to please. She is started in agility.
