Posted Breed: Mastiff / Labrador Retriever / Mixed. Hello! My name is Carson! Despite being a senior, I still love to play like a young dog. My favorite thing to do is play fetch with a tennis ball or a squeaky toy. When I'm done playing, I just want to cuddle and try to lay on your lap. If I can't do that, I'll give you puppy eyes until I get ear scratches. I hope you don't mind a 92-pound lap dog! I'm a very gentle guy and I get along well with people, including older children. I am also house trained and know a few tricks like come, sit, and shake. If you have other dogs, I would like to meet them! Come meet me at Zona Rosa! My adoption fee includes my neuter, vaccinations, heartworm test, microchip, and of course me! I can't wait to see you!

PERFECT EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMAL To Adopt a Pet email contact at bottom of bio. A private appointment will be made for you to visit the pet. 8 FREE GROUP DOG TRAINING SESSIONS WITH OUR DOG WHISPERER/TRAINER DONATION $ 127 I AM SIMBA - HEAR ME ROAR!!! No you really won't because I'm not a barker, not a whiner, and I surely won't roar and scare anyone. I'm all about gentleness and affection. I had a rough life and I'm almost 4 (9-9-2013). I weigh in at 73 pounds so I'm large but not HUGE! I'm one of the most gentle dogs you'll ever meet. Curious, sweet to the bone, and low energy. I don't roar around trying to disturb anyone or anything. I'M PERFECT. In fact I'm such a happy dog that I hurt my tail on the fence wagging it so much. I wagged it and hit the fence wagged and hit the fence until I had my tail bleed! Can you imagine that??? But the vet had to remove part of my tail as it just kept getting wagged, bloodied, wagged bloodied. I'm expecting a better life from here on out! Please. My owner beat me in the face, nothing is done to her, then she takes me to a terrible place to be killed. ARK saved me and now I'm in a safe environment with a wonderful foster. I am an extremely friendly, loving dog. As for cats I'm curious about this but haven't tried to attack them. I'm very loving and would make a terrific emotional support animal. I had an eye operation and now I'm be fine. ARK received a $400 donation from a loving generous woman so I got the eye operation! I'm very healthy and happy to be SAVED!! I'm so special not just anyone is going to be able to adopt me!!! From Maggi: Simba is one of the most amazing pals that has ever crossed the threshold of our hospital. Everyone at FloridaWild, including my daughter who owns the hospital, is in love with him. He absolutely has to go to the perfect home or I'll be scalped or I might kill myself because I really want to keep him. I have 5 though and Simba deserves to be spoiled rotten for the remainder of his life. His early years were disgusting and cruel; yet he seemed to take it all in stride as he was beaten in the face, attacked by dogs, and taken by his owner to the shelter to be killed. The shelter was to execute him on a Friday. We saved him sight unseen two days earlier. I was told he couldn't get along with anyone or anything but he looked like my spirit dog I'd lost months earlier. Simba is a spirit dog in every sense of the word; calm, humble, gentle, curious and filled with a great capacity to love and be loyal with all his big heart. Sadly part of his magnificent tail had to be amputated because he absolutely refused to stop wagging it and hitting it against the chain link fence. We collected $400 in donations to have surgery on his eyelids - which was successful. His lashes were growing inward - he's cured now! Emotional Support Animals (ESA) Emotional Support Animals are not required to undergo specialized training. They can be dogs, cats, exotics, birds. Their primary role is to provide their owners with emotional comfort. Emotional support animals can benefit a disabled individual psychologically. The basic gift of companionship and unconditional affection can be the therapy needed to counter a condition like debilitating depression or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. ESAs are protected under the Fair Housing Amendments Act (FHAA) and the Air Carrier Access Act (ACAA). People meeting the proper criteria are entitled to an ESA to assist them with life. The FHAA protects individuals by allowing ESAs to live with them regardless of breed (even with no pet policies). The ACAA protects individuals by allowing ESAs to fly with them in the cabin of an airplane without having to pay additional fees. ESAs are not required to be professionally trained. An owner can train the pet. A letter of need written by a mental health counselor may be required for those wanting to transport via plane or for landlords. Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mastiff / Mixed (short coat). Hello! My name is Daphne and I enjoy the company of children, other dogs, and cats! Daphne is a 4.5 yr old Mastiff/lab mix that's looking for her foster or adopter. She's spayed, microchipped and current on all vaccinations. She's good with kids, lives with a cat that she's good with and gets along with all dogs. She can be a bit too playful for some dogs, but she means no harm at all. She's a sweetie who is happy to let kids dress her up but she does need to have room to run or get a lot of exercise. Anyone got room in their heart and home for her?

    Harley

    Breed: Mastador
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mastiff / Mixed (short coat). To make the adoption process faster and easier, please visit www.caninelifeline.org to submit an online application. If you love big dogs, you’re going to want to meet Harley, our lovable 2-3 year-old Lab/Mastiff mix male. Harley came to us from a county dog shelter after his owner was no longer able to care for him. He is missing a front leg which, according to the shelter, was due to an accident with farm machinery. We don’t know when the amputation was done but it must have been a number of months ago as he gets along very well on 3 legs. Harley does best with dogs smaller than he is and seems to be a little nervous around other large dogs. Prior to coming to Canine Lifeline, Harley was in a foster home briefly where he was often found cuddling on the couch with fellow foster dogs in the 10-20 pound range. Harley has excellent crate manners and with a little work in his new home should be able to master the housetraining routine. He’s a very affectionate dog who would love having a family who is home much of the time. Harley weighs about 78 pounds and his adoption fee is $200. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Harley. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there. Please visit our website at www.caninelifeline.org to see more photos of Harley and to submit an online application. Please visit http://www.caninelifeline.org/2015/adoption-process/ for more information about our adoption process and to submit an online application.

    Teddy Bear

    Breed: Mastador
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Mastiff / Labrador Retriever / Mixed. Teddy Bear is a handsome 70 lb., 2 year old English Mastiff/Lab mix. This sweet sweet boy is well-trained, smart, and loyal. Prior to being in a foster home he lived his whole life outside with not much human contact so he can be shy at first. After spending some time with his foster family he went from shy to snuggly. His foster family says he is the most loving and kind dog. On top of that he gets along great with other dogs, in fact there hasn't been one dog that Teddy hasn't made his best friend. That being said, he would definitely do best in a home with another dog. Teddy Bear is playful and loves his toys but is also just as happy snuggling up next to you and resting his head on your lap. He always aims to please and just wants a family to share his devoted love with. Can you be his forever family that he has been waiting so long for? Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (www.anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible, organization. We are an all volunteer group, so after submitting your application, if you don't hear back from us within a few days, please e-mail us at adoption@anewchancear.org. Be sure to read about the adoption process (http://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-process/) on our website, so you'll know what to expect and fill out all fields on the adoption application (http://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/) or we won't be able to process it. We are a foster-based rescue and do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. Please do not contact us requesting a meeting with a dog because we are an all-volunteer organization, and these requests tie up our volunteers who could instead be checking applications. As you can imagine, we are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (http://anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We do not have a shelter facility and we provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering, and microchipping before transporting our dogs. Then, we provide whatever follow up care is necessary while they are in foster care. All of this is very expensive and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources, so if you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (http://anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through your kindness and that of supporters like you that we are "changing lives...one tail at a time" by providing our dogs with "A New Chance." (www.anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Posted Breed: Mastiff / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Dianna is a very sweet and loving dog. She was born without retinas so she's completely blind, but that does not slow her down. She loves to go out and run in the field with other dogs. She is so friendly! She likes going out and smelling the world and absolutely loves meeting new people. Dianna is spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, crate trained, and on heartworm preventative. Her adoption fee is $150. UPDATE on July 19, 2015 Dianna went on a 4 mile hike with other dogs from the rescue and she had a wonderful time!!
