  • Miniature Bull Terrier Dog For Adoption in Yakima, WA

    Enya

    rescue
    Breed: Miniature Bull Terrier
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Adult
    Location: Yakima, WA
Posted Breed: Miniature Bull Terrier (short coat). Please take the time to read the entire profile. We spend alot of time putting as much info in them as possible. Thank you in advance. Enya- Enya is a sweet bull terrier girl. She has had a rough life and deserves a great home with people who love her. She is a minature bull terrier. We are not sure of how old she is. We are guessing a mature adult but her condition makes it hard to guess her age. We do not know much about her past but are putting things together as best as we can. She is a sweet girl who we just adore and a typical bull terrier. She really just wants to be part of someones family. She is a great dog and someone will get a great friend. Enya is a darling bull terrier girl. She came to us from a person who cared about her but was unable to give her what she needed. She was emaciated and weighed less then half her recommended body weight. She is a sweet girl and just needed a situation who could take care of her, help get her up to weight and help her become the happy healthy girl we knew she could be. She has come so far once we got her dewormed, good food and had her teeth checked. She is an amazingly sweet girl. We do not have a lot of info on her history but do know that she didn’t do well with other dogs and will fight over food. Which is typical for the breed. She is an amazingly loving girl who just needs a family that will love her. She may do well with dogs that are non reactive and if fed apart. Once we got her on a normal feeding schedule she is doing much better and even is showing that she enjoys the company of another dog. They just would not be able to be fed together. Enya is a doll. She loves to be cuddled, loved and just have a soft bed to lay on and family to hang out with. She is a dominate girl and although she can do well with other dogs, she needs a home who has a dog who is non reactive. She has done well with kids but will guard food. So simply feeding her in a crate or her own area would solve this issue. She loves toys, loves to be cuddled and deserves a soft place to sleep and a family that loves her. Its clear from the condition of this girl that she has had a rough life so far. Everyone deserves a family that loves them. She does too. Enya is up to date, dewormed, flea treated, and altered. She is house broken, crate trained, and does well on leash and is really a cuddle bug. She is a great girl and getting healthier every day. She is eating a high calorie food, but could be on regular food soon as she is up to weight. She is a happy healthy girl who wants a family of her own. She has been in rescue for a long time, and just wants a family. She is a typical bull terrier and does best in a home that knows the breed. She is a sweet girl. If you are looking for someone to share your life with, adore, and be loved this is your girl. We spend a lot of time trying to get to know the dogs in our program as best as we can. This means that we have spent time introducing them to dogs, cats, kids, animals, people and as many things as we can. We try to do as much as we can to evaluate them, both with in our group and if the dogs come from other rescues or shelters their evaluations as well. However dogs are individuals and will react to different situations differently. This means that we do not know how a dog will react in every situation. We give out our best guess based off information provided but the handler of a dog and the way they are introduced to a situation makes a huge impact. So if you have any questions of how to introduce a dog to your home, please let us know and we will provide as much info as we can from pamphlets to helping find a trainer in your area. Our rescue aims to help dogs who are passed by and over looked by most rescues and people. We help the dogs who are in need of medical care, vetting, training and breeds that most will not help with. In most shelters if you are large dog, a big dog, or a male dog; from the moment you walk in you are on barrowed time. If you have docked ears or are a guardian breed your time was over before you walked in the doors. We aim to save these dogs and give them a second chance. Please help us save more lives by helping with our medical bills as they grow. This year has already been hard and we have many medical dogs in need. https://www.gofundme.com/v2eap2f8 If you would like to adopt this pet please send us an email. Applications will be sent to you via email. We do our best to get back to emails in 24 hrs. If it has been longer then that please resend another email. We would love to hear from you. We welcome any questions that you may have. Our goal is to find the right fit for every home, not just any home! We have been informed that some of the links to email us regarding our adoptable dogs are not working. This has been on going for a few weeks with petfinder and a few other links. If you find this to be an issue that you are having please send an email directly to us at: RisingPhoenixWa@aol.com If you are inquiring on a specific pet we do ask that you put the name of the pet in the subject line. So we know who it is that you are inquiring regarding. Thank you in advance for understanding as we work through this. As with any rescue we are always in need of donations. MANY of our dogs come in with special needs or medical issues. These need to be resolved before going home. If you would like to make a donation toward a dogs medical care you can use our paypal address RisingPhoenixWa@aol.com you can also email us for a physical address. We are always in need of dog food, soft food for some of our special needs dogs, collars, leashes, crates, and toys!
