Posted Breed: Terrier / Mixed (long coat). Hello! I am Miss Hannah! I have been with WAGS for a long time now. I have been through a lot. I ended up having those nasty heartworms. Wags treated me and now all I need is a monthly pill to keep them away! I am very shy but do warm up once I am able to trust. I do get scared easily so a quiet home might be best for me. I do like my space and a comfy pillow to call my own! I hope there is a home for me to help me along and treat me like the queen I like to be treated like! If you think that I am somebody you would like to love, please email WAGS at email@example.com to arrange to meet me. WAGS adoption fee is $100.00 for dogs and puppies. The fee covers the spay or neuter surgery, up to date vaccinations and deworming. We have an adoption form that all potential adopters fill out. There is an informal interview conducted when you meet the dogs, to determine what kind of home you will provide for a pet.
|A.K.A. :||A mongrel, mixed-breed dog|
|Overview:||A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.|

verifiedPosted Breed: Hound / Boxer / Mixed (short coat). Gibbs is a fun loving dog. He was found wondering on a bridge in Wagoner. Almost got hit a few times by the trucks crossing the bridge. He was very skinny and you could count every rib bone he had so he must have been on his own for awhile. He was happy to be rescued and has become a loving dog. He loves other dogs but people are his favorite. If you think he would be for you contact Wags at 918-704-5438 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. The fee is 100.00 which covers his vaccinations,alteration and his vetting. He will make someone a great pet.
