Yorkshire Terriers are the living embodiment of "tiny but mighty!" Yorkshire Terriers, also commonly called Yorkies, are a hypoallergenic, non-shedding toy breed that typically stays around 5-7 lb adult weight, though there are some who will be smaller and some a little larger. This breed is FULL of fiesty fun energy and will certainly not have any trouble keeping up, even though they're tiny (shhhhhh! Don't tell them that! They truly believe themselves to be BIG dogs and they'll prove it with their personalities!). Originally bred in England to help control the rat population in the factories of the Industrial Revolution, Yorkies have since gone from working dog to one of the most popular companion dogs.
