All four colours are possible!! My goal is to breed healthy, athletic, active, intelligent, hard-working stock dogs that can stop a cow or baby a lamb, then go home and be a goofball with the family. They should be beautiful, fun, energetic, and willing to please. Health/genetic tested, raised in my home using Early Neurological Stimulation, and Puppy Culture protocols. Chachi is handsome and employed!
He is a red-factored black tri from Tucker Creek Australian Shepherds in Thunderbay, Ontario.
He is 9 years old.
He is on the larger side, structurally sound, and has a VERY solid temperament.
He works as a goosing dog which puts him in contact with strange people and dogs all the time and always behaves like a gentleman. A very gentle, bashful, kind of guy. I had to hide my eyes before he would do more than just flirt with Juno.
In regards to herding ability and instinct, he tends to have a wider cast and comes from dogs with a wider cast which is what I was looking for.
His side of the Tucker Creeks lines also tend to pass on nice heads.
Mother
Juno is a blue merle, moderate sized female with a classic head. She has one eye that is partially blue. She is from Allstar Aussies and Countrywoods Aussies, both in Michigan.
She is a cuddler, and will do anything to please me. She is very good at minding her own business but if another dog is rude, she will put it in it's place.
She loves her people and her dog friends. She lacks as much confidence as I would like to see in a dog, but isn't hard to handle.
On stock, she was a bit too attached to me at first, but is now starting to understand her job. She works close to the stock, sometimes cutting one away so I wanted a dog that will hopefully give more distance.
She is an AMAZING mom! She weans them naturally, is firm but not over the top. She loves playing with them and at 8 weeks did some butt kicking that taught the pups a lesson no person ever could, without being mean or scary.
