MUST BE PLACED IN A HOME WITH ANOTHER SPORTING OR LARGE DOG Whiskey is 10 months old. Whiskey is a dream young GSP. He is very smart and picks up on rules quickly. He is house trained and can hold his bladder for hours. While he loves to run and play like any GSP, he knows the “go lay down” command and would love to snuggle with you. Compared to other GSPs his age, he is very chill. Whiskey is the type of dog who needs a “pack” and does well with another similar-breed dog as a kennel buddy. He had separation anxiety with his previous family when he was alone in his kennel and would howl and escape. Since he has been back with us at his birth home and sharing a kennel with another GSP, he has not had an issue with separation anxiety. His new family should plan to kennel him with another sporting or large dog. Whiskey is good with other dogs, with cats, and with children.
