Description
This adorable little boy is the last of our litter! He is currently 8 weeks old and has had his first round of shots and deworrming. He is absolutely adorable and is starting to "potty" outside. We call him Chunks due to his short and fluffy stature! He is a calm yet playful pup that adores playing with his yorkie mom and his yorkie aunt. We believe he would do best in a home with other small dogs and older teenagers or a home with a family that would give him lots of attention. He loves attention and finds fulfillment in playing and snuggling with our other dogs. He is crate trained. He sleeps inside his crate all night. We love this little guy but we already have two yorkies and need him to find a home! We are located in the Wetumpka, AL area. He would make a great Christmas present! He was born on September 7th and has been in our care the entire time. He eats puppy food very well and loves a treat when he goes outside to potty!
Items Included: Full blooded yorkshire terrier parti-coat parents. Dad has papers, mom does not but was purchased from local families that breed yorkies. Vaccines and deworming have been given and are up to date as of today.

Overview:
The Yorkshire Terrier, affectionately known as a "Yorkie," is a popular small dog breed originating from 19th-century Yorkshire, England, where they were initially used to catch rats in clothing mills. Despite their diminutive size, typically weighing between 4 to 7 pounds, they possess a big personality. Key physical characteristics include a compact body, a small head, and their most distinctive feature: a long, silky, straight coat that is a striking steel blue on the body and tail, and a rich golden tan on the head and chest. Temperamentally, Yorkies are known for being spunky, intelligent, and confident, often displaying a surprisingly bold nature. They are generally adaptable and can thrive in various living situations, making them well-suited for apartment living due to their small stature and moderate exercise needs. With proper socialization, they can be wonderful companions for families, though their delicate size means they are better suited to homes with older, more considerate children. Regarding health, like many small breeds, they can be predisposed to certain conditions such as patellar luxation, tracheal collapse, and dental issues, emphasizing the importance of regular veterinary care and a balanced diet.
