Posted Breed: Pit Bull Terrier (medium coat). Meet our wonderful little frogman Hemsworth! He's a beautiful champagne colour, a great mid-size at 60 pounds & just simply adora-bull. It's hard to explain why, but seriously he looks a bit like a frog right??! This poor fella has had a complicated journey so far. After being abandoned at someone's house, he then found himself at our shelter where he's been for 10 months since last August. We are urgently seeking foster, adoption or rescue placement for Hemsworth. He was very shy at first & afraid of the leash, but our dedicated volunteers have brought him out of his shell. He recently had a short foster getaway to have a break from the shelter & his foster folks reported that he was friendly & affectionate towards most people he met, occasionally nervous. He's medium energy, active & playful yet settled down & rested nicely. We feel he would do best in an adult only home, as similar to a puppy he can get overly excited & a bit mouthy when playing. Hemsworth would thrive with a patient, dog savvy owner able to offer him consistent guidance on basic obedience & house breaking. Our little frog is ready to get off this crazy lily pad he's been stuck on for 10 months & find his forever frog family.
