Posted Breed: Pit Bull Terrier (short coat). Sweety is a 1 year old female brindle pit bull mix. She is a special girl, who needs a pretty special household. She'd do best with an experienced, confident owner who understands dog behavior - and who understands that it can take days or weeks for a shelter dog to decompress and de-stress when they're in a new home. She would do best in a relatively quiet household, and definitely needs training to work on her leash reactivity, confidence, and basic manners. She does well with other confident dogs, but would need very slow introductions. She really is a sweet girl, who just needs to be given a chance to show her true loving self.
