Posted Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Henley has grown in size and maturity since coming into our home for foster care and training. He is now just over a year old and almost 75lbs! I am fairly certain 70 of those pounds are pure love (the other five might be pure adrenaline!). Henley is very much a `rough and tumble` dog by nature. We often refer to him as our little rugger because every activity with him is like a full contact game of rugby. He loves to swing his rope toys against anything that stands still and gives hugs by shoulder-checking our legs at top speed. But, after a good romp around the yard, Henley loves to dive into my lap with his nightly dental chew to get butt scratches and belly rubs and will eventually fall asleep there. Henley's unique brand of high-impact love is endearing when you get used to it, but he would do best in a home without children or small animals. Ultimately, Henley is a lovable project dog. He enjoys long walks and is a dream in his crate, he just needs the right family to continue training to help him thrive. In return, Henley promises to give the sweetest kisses and always keep your spirits light with his unending antics!
