He is with our friends in Louisiana scheduled to come to NJ June 25. Murphy's foster in Louisiana said this about Murph: My name is Murphy (aka big Murph, big poppa, big dude.) I am a 2-3 year old pitbull mix. I am looking for my furever home. I was rescued in a large cruelty/neglect case about 2 years ago. I lived in the shelter, until I was on the euthanasia list, because there was no more room for me. My foster family saved me with 2 days to spare. Since, August I've been learning how to be a dog in a home, since living with them. They made sure to potty train me and I love to show off how I sit on command! My foster hoomans have other dogs and cats. I love the dogs and ignore the cats. I wish for a home. I would do best in a home with patience. I need a hooman that is willing to help me learn appropriate play, since I never really got to. I am a big boy, so I wouldn't do great in a home with tiny humans. I am over 60lbs of pure muscle so I need a mom or dad that can handle me. My foster moms showed me the sofa for the first time, and now I have claimed it as mine. Give me a bone and a sofa, and I am a happy boy. But if you rub my belly, I'll love you forever. I can't wait to meet you, whoever you are. Murphy has been fixed, microchipped and he is up to date on vaccines. He was treated for heartworm in January-February 2022. Murphy's adoption fee is $400. How to Adopt Me!
