This cutie is Hazel, a 1-2 year old, Hound/Terrier mix who weighs around 55 pounds. She is a very special pup who seems more like a little human. She absolutely loves attention and can be very silly. Hazel has puppy energy but is very well behaved. She will crawl up on your lap like a child and give kisses and little nibbles. Hazel needs a special human that will love her deeply and unconditionally. Hazel wants to be as close as she can and sleeps under the covers in bed with her human. She gets along with other dogs however it takes a bit for her to trust them. Hazel currently lives with 4 other dogs (big and small) and 2 cats; she is safe with the cats but can be rough at times. Hazel would love a fenced in yard, and needs a human that is active and will keep her mentally stimulated. She loves kids and is approved for households with children over 10 years of age. We are seeking an adopter who is home more often or who can give Hazel a break mid-day due to Hazel's energy level and playfulness. This dog has been examined by a licensed veterinarian, been provided inoculations, was tested for diseases, dewormed, microchipped and spayed.
