Posted Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier / Mixed. Hi! My name is Tilt and I am a volunteer favorite who is looking for a forever home! I am 8 years young, 85 pounds, and my name comes from tilting my head to the left while I was sitting in the shelter (patiently, for TWO YEARS until TLRD saved me...whew!). I'm a really good boy who knows how to sit for treats and I walk great on the leash. After a good walk, I like to just chill out with you, maybe take a nap, or sunbathe on the grass in my backyard. I am good with other dogs and older kids (just because I'm big and kinda forget sometimes), but I'm looking for a home without cats. Lately some of the volunteers here have taken me on extra special Saturday adventures, like to baseball games or out to breakfast at Woody's. Wanna know what else I love almost as much as my walks? Back scratches and playing tug-of-war with my rope! You like those too?! Maybe you're my perfect match! I love my foster family so much, but I am very ready to settle in with my forever family.
