Age: 12 years old Breed: Maltese Weight: 15 lbs, ideally her goal weight is about 12 lbs to aid in her health, joints and mobility Kid-friendly: Hasn't been around them much, has never been aggressive towards them Dogs: Yes Cats: Yes, mostly ignores Crate trained: No Potty trained: Yes, will bark or go to the door Health concerns: Back hip was out of place prior to coming to rescue, seems ok now, needs to remain on arthritis medication. Arthritis and allergies/skin allergies, takes medications. Mass under her chest. May have stress colitis when introduced to new environments. Current medications & estimated costs: Hydroxyzine for allergies, Apoquel for allergies, and Rimadyl for pain/arthritis. About $95/month Adoption fee: $375 As a rescue, we provide the care, procedures and testing that is available to us. Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). At times, adopters will be responsible for procedures not completed in rescue (dentals, bloodwork, etc.) Your new dog will receive their rabies and distemper vaccine. $50 discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies and distemper) HW test and spay/neuter if needed and additional health needs specific to each animal. Grey Face Rescue does not adopt outside of Minnesota for now. We apologize for the inconvenience. We do not adopt animals to families whose current pets are not up-to-date on vaccinations or not altered.
