Description
We have a very sweet, loyal, house trained, crate trained, smart, friendly, neutered male heeler-terrier puppy named Leo. We absolutely LOVE him but when our daughter moved back home, we learned she is severely allergic to him. We call him Leo the fox because he is so clever and looks like a little fox when he sleeps. He has a lot of energy and needs a home where he has a yard or place to run. He would be fantastic as an agility dog! He is completely potty trained and will alert you when he needs out. He also knows the commands sit, down, stay, heel, come, no jump and rollover. He will play fetch as long as possible! He is crate trained but loves cuddles too and loves to sleep at or on your feet. He is fully vaccinated and microchipped. An apartment would not be ideal for him as he loves to run and play, especially with his frisbee. He is good with kids but still learning not to mouth on things as his adult teeth are coming in. He loves other dogs and has never been around cats, so not sure how he would do with one. We are beyond sad that we can no longer keep him and are looking for a special home for him. He is on the smaller side for a heeler and weighs 21 pounds, though he may still get a little bigger. We adopted him from a shelter in March. We will not ship him anywhere as we want to meet his new family to ensure he is well loved. We are asking an adoption fee of $100 but are willing to negotiate for the right owners.
