The Australian Cobberdog originated in Australia from the same root stock as the Labradoodle and then the more advanced Australian Labradoodle as it was further developed. It is important to note that 'Cobberdog' is NOT the new name given to the Australian Labradoodle in Europe as is being claimed on some breeders' websites.
