Lucy is our purple collared girl and is our smallest female. She has this golden coat that is not quite red, but not apricot (it’s beautiful)! She’s a little more timid than the rest of the girls, not the first to go to a new toy but will eventually check it out. She’s slowly finding her place with her littermates, and is gaining confidence daily. Lucy is a great pottier and has been a great nurser even though she is in the smaller side she can carry her own!

Lucy is our purple girl, she is the smallest girl in our litter and is a lite red with white markings on her chin. Because she’s our smallest she does get picked on a little bit, but she’s slowly building her confidence and is begging to play back.

Overview:
The Australian Labradoodle breed dates back to the 1980's and was initiated by Wally Conran of Royal Guide Dogs located in Victoria Australia. The intent was to create a breed that was allergy and asthma friendly with the temperament of a service dog. This journey was inspired by a vision impaired woman in Hawaii needed a Guide Dog which wouldn't aggravate her husband's allergies. Of the 31 Labradoodles bred at Royal Guide Dogs, a staggering 29 made it through as Guide Dogs... an accolade of paralleled proportion for this "new breed' of Guide Dog. Currently the Australian Labradoodle is considered to be a cross between the Poodle, Cocker Spaniel and Labrador Retriever, while the Labradoodle is a cross between the Labrador Retriever and Poodle only.
