LOVABLE BEABULL LOOKING FOR NEW HOME

Waldo is a stereotypical fun-loving bulldog-beagle, 75/25 mix (20" at the haunch and 55-65lbs). I have owned him since he was 13wks old (b Dec '11). Originally from Pacific Northwest, we were forced to relocate to New Mexico in 2016 due to work. It didn't take long to notice how hard the climate and environment was on him. The heat is effecting his health, and effecting his ability to go on walks. With incredibly hot pavement, and serious stickers and thorns off-pavement, we found ourselves walking him less and less. That’s not fair to Waldo, as being a bulldog needs ways to use his natural energy. We have tried taking him out if the area for relief but it takes hours until we reach an area that’s safe for him. It’s been a long time coming finding him a new home. In February I found out we would be in New Mexico indefinitely, & knew as heartbreaking as it is to part ways with such a sweet boy, I must do what's best for him, and get him back to the Pacific Northwest. To share a little about his personality: Waldo is always excited to meet new people or even people he hasn't seen in 20min, 100% he's a people lover! He is a blanket dog, and will fish himself under his blanket when he's tired. He is the sweetest, loyalest and most lovable bullydog you could ask for. He loves car rides with a chew bone, the outdoors, hikes, and wading in water. He is the absolute best snuggler, such a sweet temperament! Laps, feet, whatever you'll allow! I will truly miss how he'd sense my feet are cold and then lay on them! Waldo has almost never had a potty accident in the house, even as a puppy, and he knew basic commands already when I acquired him from a high quality breeder.
