| Overview: | The Scottish Collisky is a cross between Rough Collie, Siberian Husky and some of them might have trace evidence of Samoyed from early in the breed development. The Scottish Collisky is highly trainable, energetic, intelligent and makes a great family dog. They have long thick coats and will require frequent grooming. Without regular brushing, they are prone to becoming matted easily. |

| Coat: | Scottish Collisky's have a thick, luxurious, long coat that is 2-3 inches on the body and can extend to over 4 inches on the britches and neck. |
| Character: | Scottish Collisky's are intelligent, easy to train, friendly, watchful and outgoing. |
| Temperament: | The Scottish Collisky gets along well with children and other dogs, proper introductions should be made between a Scottish Collisky and small animals. Their prey drive is moderate and they are inclined to chase small animals. |
| Care: | They require daily brushing and attention to the maintenance of their luxurious coats. Low shedding through most of the year, but will blow their coat in summer. During the blow season, it is critical that they are thoroughly brushed everyday to avoid extensive amounts of shedding, hair and discomfort to your pet. |
| Training: | The Scottish Collisky is a people pleaser, eagerly compliant to their handlers. They are prone to barking when over stimulated or under stimulated. Plenty of exercise and companionship will help you achieve a well balance pet. |
| Activity: | Exercise needs are moderate. A daily walk and human interaction will be sufficient. |

| Health Issue: | As with all Collie breeds, they can suffer from eye problems or chemical sensitivities. They have higher rates of cosmetic umbillical hernia in males. |
