Posted Breed: Hound / Bulldog / Mixed. ACTIVE & READY FOR FUN: 2 years old / 42 lbs. Hi there, I’m Lively! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and look forward to finding a wonderful family to be active and have fun with! I got to participate in the prison/foster training program and learned a lot! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I have met some dogs at Mostly Mutts that I like and others that I don’t. I am a dominant female and will dominate other dogs. Due to this, a home with NO other dogs is best for me. After I settle, it may be ok to meet some other dogs; please talk to my trainers about this. / Cats unknown / I met a 10-year-old boy and younger girl at Mostly Mutts and did well with them, so a home with kids around 10 (or slightly younger) sounds fun, let’s meet! Please keep in mind I can be playfully mouthy, but not in an aggressive way. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m described as a very active, very happy and very friendly girl! I have energy for days and can’t wait to start having fun with as well as continue in my training with my family. I am also able to self-entertain. / I have a very high energy level at an 8-9, so I will need regular exercise. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program, so I’ve mastered the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop-it’, ‘leave it’, and ‘go to your place’ commands. I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners (as long as you are a good walking leader) as well as accept nice strangers without jumping. I use an easy walk harness / I did well in my crate in the prison/foster program. I also loved to sleep and cuddle with my trainer overnight if you would like me to keep you company in bed. / I’m having some accidents on the shelter schedule, but I did well with my potty habits in the prison program, so perhaps I need to be taken out more than the shelter schedule allows. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love playing with toys, and I really get into puzzle toys. I’m focused and good at them, and figuring out the puzzle is fun and seems to calm me. It’s a great rainy-day activity when I can’t get out and exercise with my people. I also enjoyed the massage part of my bath and leaned in nicely for the towel drying too. I also like pup-peroni treats and lots of walks and hikes with the volunteers. I really love people the most, folding in half with excitement when I get to meet new people. / I would not be happy without a good leader, lots of exercise and playtime as well as continued training and lots of love! • MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. So, if you’re looking for a dog to be active with and you enjoy training as well as being a good leader to your dog, we could be a great fit! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
