Miley and Abby are a bonded pair and must be adopted together: arrcolorado/dogs/#action_0=pet&animalID_0=18044355&petIndex_0=29 Adorable Abby is the sweetest of seniors at the tender age of 12. Weighing a trim 13 pounds, she’s most content spending her days curled up comfortably with Miley and sleeping soundly in their “den” – the large crate in their foster home’s kitchen. As much as she loves Miley’s company, she also loves her fosters’ attention, whether it’s being picked up and held or petted while she’s cozily crated. Although she has moments of playfulness, wandering around the backyard for a while, she especially enjoys being under blankets, rearranging the den every day to ensure that it’s perfect. She gets along well with the cats and other dogs, and while she knows no commands, she knows she loves breakfasts, dinners, and treats, especially Milk-Bone tiny biscuits. Almost fully house-trained, she also uses pee pads indoors, and now hopes to spend the rest of her golden years with Miley in a quiet home with room in their hearts for two. Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application received in the order they're submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If your home sounds like a good match for you and the pet, we will connect you with our dogs' foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit, then a "meet and greet" is set up. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to finalize the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $80. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all DAPP boosters after adoption. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for any rabies vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking here .
