Dachshund Litter of Puppies For Sale in CROWLEY, TX, USA
We have one last puppy available for deposit, and ready to go home with you on February 11! All of the puppies in this litter are potty trained to real grass, and actively leave their crate to potty in the grass at the other end of their pen before returning to bed or play time. They have been raised in the Puppy Culture protocols since birth, including ENS (early neurological stimulation), socialization with human visitors and our friendly adult dogs, and a variety of household sounds. We focus on temperament and exposing our puppies to as many enriching opportunities as possible while they're in our care, in order to condition them to be lifelong enrichment-seekers. The result is a puppy that is curious, eager to explore new things, and accustomed to meeting people he/she doesn't know. We do nail trims weekly, and baths about every 2 weeks, so while they're still squirmy at this age, our puppies are not opposed to being handled this way. The puppies (like our adult dogs) eat their meals from chew toys, which encourages self-soothing during alone time and chewing on doggy-appropriate items. They choose to sleep in an open crate inside their puppy pen, as they've learned that the crate is a warm, safe place. Bite inhibition is coming along well, and is a key component of our puppy program. Each puppy is accustomed to household noises like banging pots, the vacuum cleaner (the puppies sleep through that now), slamming doors, flinging garbage bags, video game noises, etc. There are no issues with submissive peeing, and we've worked on "puppy come!" which is an exciting and positive thing for these babies. Herby is a beautiful shaded cream longhair dachshund. He has 15 champions in his 5 year pedigree, and has great conformation. He weighs 11 pounds and has a very laid back personality. He has produced some gorgeous puppies and we look forward to seeing more from him. He is PRA Clear. Test results can be seen upon request.
