|Overview:||The Aidi is a powerful and muscular dog with a broad back and neck. It makes a good indoor dog, but needs plenty of exercise.|

|Coat:||Thick and slightly long on the body. Short hair on the head and ears. Has a mane at the neck.|
|Character:||Aidis are alert and ready to play. Excellent sense of smell and a good tracking dog.|
|Temperament:||Aidis are protective of their owners, but may be wary of strangers They need firm, yet gentle training.|
|Care:||Weekly brushing is required.|
|Training:||Training should be firm, but gentle. This breed is very sensitive to training methods, which should be kind.|
|Activity:||This breed needs plenty of exercise. Regular walks and a fenced yard for running are best.|

Breed Group: Flock Guard Colors: More or less dark fawn with a mingling of black hairs and sometimes a little white at the chest and on the feet; more or less light grey, often with white on the head, chest and on the feet; harlequin of varied tones. The black coats, black with white markings, are not very widespread. The coats of pure colour are preferred. Faults : Too many and too big white patches. Black coat with tan on the head and on the legs (called bas rouges = red socks). Disqualifying faults : White coat.
