  • Australian Cattle Dog-Labrador Retriever Mix Dog For Adoption in Apple Valley, CA, USA

    Captain- las...

    rescue
Breed: Australian Cattle Dog-Labrador Retriever Mix
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Baby
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Queensland Heeler / Mixed. Captain is the last one here of a litter of 5 puppies (called The Care Bear puppies), born in November. Their mom was a heeler/labrador/ridgeback mix. Captain is now around 30 lbs. He is an outgoing, playful pup. Captain is so named because of his confident attitude. He should be easy to house train, because he's already good about going in a certain place in the yard. He loves playing tug of war and getting attention. He's missing some fur, especially on his ears, but he was born that way. He is neutered, has his rabies shot, has all his puppy shots, and is microchipped. He's ready to be taken home right away. **For all our young puppies, we ask that new owners be able to be home often, at least at first, because of the time and attention that a puppy needs. Are you my furrever family? For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section where very thorough instructions await. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records. Our prices are higher than the shelter's because we are committed to taking care of the dogs all their lives if they aren't adopted, and we nurse them through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries. Our prices start at $150 and go up to $750. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The higher end is for our most in demand dogs, such as puppies and hard-to-find purebred dogs. Because we are a charity, the fees for our dogs are officially "donations" and are tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return! The beauty of coming to our Apple Valley sanctuary is that you can see all 90+ dogs! Email your application and ask for more details! Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating! Hours Friday: 10 am to 3 pm Saturday: 10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED Weekday appointments may be available. She came in at 3 and a half months old and has been growing into a very beautiful young lady. She has had a hard time getting adopted because she can seem shy to strangers. She has had her full series of puppy shots, is spayed, and has her rabies shot and a chip. Location: USA
Posted Breed: Beagle / Pug. Milo is a beagle/pug mix, 4 years old and 25 lbs. Cream-colored smooth coat. He was rescued from a shelter, where he had been an owner turn in. He has been very friendly, sweet, and well mannered with us. His only personality issue is that he can be dog selective- though he has a nice group of playmates around his size that he likes to run around with in our big exercise yard. *We discovered that he can have seizures. He has only had a few in the year he's been with us, and they were mild enough that he didn't need vet attention. They seem to be brought on by extreme stress. Unfortunately, his seizures have made it harder for him to find his forever home. He's hoping that someone will take a chance on him! Are you my furrever family? rescue
    Breed: Beagle
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Baby
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Beagle. Duke is a 9 month old red & white (two-tone) beagle boy, about 25 lbs but still growing. He's had a hard life so far- he sustained a spinal injury when he was still a baby, which made him unable to use his back legs. But we put him in a doggie wheelchair, and he loves it! Despite his difficulties, he has a good spirit. He loves to be petted and cuddled, and he likes to race around in his chair. He gets along with all our other dogs and likes kids. He is a good candidate for STEM CELL THERAPY. Expensive and so worth it! Please donate to help with his medical care. UPDATE 3/9/19 - The vet decided that poor Duke needed an amputation on one of his back legs. It went well and he has been a very brave and good boy during his recovery. He is on bedrest right now. We will update with his progress. Update 4/10/19: Duke has been enjoying the spring sun on our back patio. We are working on getting his wheelchair fixed so that we can see if he's ready to get back in it. *He is not yet available - we'll keep you updated on his progress and doings. He would love a beagle savvy home with another k-9 pal. You gotta meet this cutie pie! Are you my furrever family? Posted Breed: Dachshund / Beagle / Mixed. Beatle is a tricolor dachshund/beagle mix, 4 years old and 11 lbs. She is here with her bonded friend/sibling Burt (pictured with her). They are shy of people but never aggressive. Beatle is the braver of the two. She will go up to strangers now, and will sometimes let people she knows pet her. They should develop even more in a home. They're both naturally obedient- they're good at following instructions, such as going inside after playtime. They love other dogs, and dogs love them, too! They have a lot of playmates here, and are the most popular dogs in the little dog play yard. Beatle loves to play, whether it's with dogs or toys. They both came here last year from another rescue. Oh, Burt has been in the office for a few weeks getting laser treatments daily, so little Beatle and her BFF Olive have been hanging together. They are great pals and always excited to see one another! Are you my furrever family? Posted Breed: Beagle / Mixed. Moneypenny is a 2 year old beagle mix. Tricolor, with pretty blue eyes. She is one of a very large group of shy beagle mixes we got together in late April 2018. She is very skittish around people, but she hasn't been aggressive; she just needs to get used to people. She's been improving and now allows herself to be taken to one of our exercise yards on a leash. Update Mar 2019- she is doing so well, and is now the second best out of the group (after Ariel). She is happy to receive pets from a volunteer, and she is very calm, quiet, and obedient. She is good in the exercise yard with the other dogs. She should do well if in the right home that lets her develop at her own pace. Spayed, has her shots, and has a chip. Are you my furrever family?
