Pomeranian
Deutscher Spitz; Zwergspitz; Spitz nain; Spitz enano; Pom; Zwers
The Pomeranian is a very inquisitive dog. He's intelligent and trains well. Moreover, he's quite wary of strangers, so may serve as a great ' though tiny ' watch dog.
German Shepherd Dog
German Shepherd, Alsatian, Alsatian Wolf Dog, Berger Allemand, Deutscher Schäferhund
The German Shepherd is unmatched in character and courage. These dogs make great companions because they are loyal and have the heightened senses of an excellent watch dog. At the same time, they can be gentle and playful companions for children.
Shiba Inu-Unknown
This breed is a cross between an Shiba Inu and a Unknown. This breed is a hybrid or designer breed that was developed by crossing Shiba Inu and a Unknown. Though the breed was intended to be a 50/50 mix, many of the it are bred over many generations and may not always be 50% and 50%. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. We currently do not have more detailed information for this breed.
Labrador Retriever
Labrador, Lab
The Labrador Retriever is probably America's favorite dog. He is playful (well into his adult years) and is often seen as a lifelong friend.
Mutt
A mongrel, mixed-breed dog
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
Brittany
Brittany Spaniel, Brittany Wiegref, Epagneul Breton French Brittany
The Brittany is a very active breed. Eager to please, this dog enjoys work or any family activity that lets him know he's the center of attention. If he can get a rigorous daily workout, he'll be very content.
Poodle (Miniature)
The Poodle is a favorite family pet. The breed is very intelligent, trains easily, and is devoted to his family. They are quite playful, yet wary of strangers.
Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
Cav, Cavalier, Cavie
The Cavalier is very happy to be with children and is very gentle with them. A loyal companion to his owner, the Cavalier needs a lot of exercise to maintain good health.
