    Breed: Labrador Retriever-Unknown Mix
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Baby
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Updated: 4/19/18 Litter Name: Baseball Litter My name is Yogi and I just had my first full 48 hours of NO accidents in the house I have learned how to go to the door when I need to go potty! I am 3-4 months old and weigh about 10 lbs. I understand the words “In”, “out”, “no”, “good boy”, and my name. I love to chew on pig ears and I like to play with other dogs. I am a fast learner and crate training is going well. I even like to lay in there for naps throughout the day when the door stays open so I can come and go as I please. My foster family loves me a lot ❤️ and says I will make a great addition to any family when I find my forever home Adoption Fee: $450.00 We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433 ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered at one of our preferred clinics. This will be determined by your contract along with the month they should have their surgery. This is included in your adoption fee. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as PENDING, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out.

    Sugar

    Breed: American Bulldog-Unknown Mix
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Young
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: American Bulldog / Mixed (short coat). Updated: 4/19/18 Oh Sugar, she is just so adorable! Like her name implies, she is a super sweet pup who seeks love and affection. You may even say she is a bit of a velcro dog. Whether it is her human or one of her foster sibling dogs, she is always looking to be near and engaged. She is about 6 months old and weighs about 30 lbs. Like most young dogs, Sugar loves to play, play, play! Although she enjoys a good chew of a bone or her favorite Gorilla Chew, she prefers to play with the other dogs in her foster home. She would absolutely love another dog in her home that has her ruff and tumble play stye and is up for a good chase around the back yard. Plus she does great on the two walks she takes daily with the other two dogs in her foster home. During the day, Sugar stays in her crate while her foster mom is at work but is always let out to potty and play at lunch time. Some afternoons, she is even lucky enough to join her foster mom at work. Sugar is not a fan of going in her crate and would much prefer to hang out with the other pups in the house but once she is in, she does fine for up to 5 hours. She knows not to potty in the house, as long as she is let out every few hours during the day. Sugar, being the lover she is, always like to touch her human when she sleeps. So whether is snuggling on the couch or in bed at night, Sugar will be right by your side and most nights sleeps straight through until morning. So if you are looking to add a little extra cuteness in your world, are open to having your pups sleep in bed and have another pup looking for a companion, Sugar might be your girl. Posted Breed: Black Labrador Retriever. UPDATED 4/19/18 Maisy has a second vet appointment on 4/20/18. We hope to have more information tomorrow and will update after her consult. UPDATED 4/12/18 Maisy is a very sweet and affectionate 4-year-old black lab. This sweet girl loves to play with other dogs and she doesn't mind cats. She was brought into a local animal control with a limp that she had reportedly had for most of her life. After coming into our care, we had Maisy checked out by our veterinarians and have determined that the limp is being caused by an old and untreated tear in her ACL. Sadly, this injury is very painful for Maisy and causes her to not weight bear on that leg. We are discussing the best options for Maisy's future with her veterinary team and will update this biography when we know more. Maisy will not be ready for adoption until we have been able to help her with her leg.

Posted Breed: Pointer / Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Updated: 4/18/18 Litter Name: Peter Rabbit Litter Meet Peter Rabbit! An adorable 3-month old pup with lots of energy, Peter is extremely playful and gets along great with all dogs! So far he has learned how to confidently navigate stairs (both up & down!) and knows the command to sit. Peter loves the outdoors and especially the snow! He would love to find a loving family that has lots of playtime for him! Peter doesn’t bark much, but when he does it’s definitely more of a big dog bark. He likes to be where his people are and thinks he is a lap dog, which works for now but maybe not so much as he gets bigger. He loves guys and is enjoys following his foster dad where ever he can, staying as close as possible. But he's not over-excited, he is calm and relaxed. He is fully crate trained, and almost fully housetrained with the rare accident from time to time but getting better all the time. He is learning how to go for walks on the leash, but with another round of winter we haven’t been consistently going for walks. He enjoys chasing his doggy friends around and around the yard. He’s good with dogs of all ages and activity levels. He’s respectful of his foster sister who is older and prefers to snuggle (he will even help clean her face which she loves) and loves to rough house with the younger male dogs. He is definitely a lover boy who also loves his play time! Adoption Fee: $425.00 We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433 ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. Posted Breed: Boxer / Pit Bull Terrier. On 3/10/18 we took in a Boxer mix and her 10 puppies. Mama, named Honey, took excellent care of her babies! They are now old enough to leave her and find homes of their own. They have been socialized with humans at the rescue since their arrival and are very friendly. They would all love to find families who will take care of them forever. We encourage adopters to take new puppies to puppy and obedience classes to learn manners and for socialization. The puppy adoption fee is $395.

    Vincent

    Breed: German Shepherd Dog-Unknown Mix
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Baby
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (medium coat). As Vincent has previously shown us, it's hard work being a puppy, and this past week has been no exception! Vince had lots of playing to do in the snow, then he had to deal with something called a neuter (which meant he had to stay out of the snow for awhile) and now he's learned that he's adoptable. He's not sure what that means, but it sounds fixable... all he needs is something called a forever home. Vincent's perfect forever home would be full of patience and love. Vincent is a very smart boy and with his intelligence comes a mischevious streak. He will need a family that will patiently help him with his potty training, can teach him how to greet new people, and show him what to chew vs what not to chew. Vincent is full of energy and excitement and is looking for a family that can keep up with his adventures. He loves everything that involves exploring with his people, or with other dogs he looks up to. Vince loves other animals and would be thrilled to share his forever home with four-legged family members. He sometimes gets overly enthusiastic when wrestling with his brother and would love to live with a confident older dog that can help him learn some puppy social graces. We believe that Vince is a GSD mix and that he will be 75lbs or larger when he is fully grown. He is currently only about 18 weeks old and has met lots of other dogs, cats and people. He loves everyone but will need his new family to continue to expose him to new things and social situations so that he becomes the best 75lb adult he can be! Vince is neutered, up to date on age appropriate shots and microchipped. For adoption applications, please visit our website www.catkinsrescue.org or email us at catkins_wi@yahoo.com
