Daily Puppy Behavior Program: The puppies also have gone through early neurological stimulation (ENS). This is a program designed to bring micro stress to them from day 3-16. Literature shows benefits have been observed in canines that were exposed to ENS, including improved cardio vascular performance (heart rate); stronger heart beats; stronger adrenal glands; more tolerance to stress; and greater resistance to disease. Between weeks 4-8 we do age appropriate obstacles/agility training, environmental stimulation (ex loud noises), cognitive problem solving, and a variety of socialization with them. We are following a strict protocol called the Puppy Culture to help prevent any mal behaviors and optimize their potential to be the most acclimated dogs. At 6 weeks we will begin crate training. A little about us: I am a Physical Therapist and my husband is a financial analyst. We live in rural NE Colorado. Our dogs are our kids! We slept in the living room with the puppies from weeks 1-3 and they were never left alone. Puppies have been raised inside with a lot of stimulation and taken outside after each meal starting week 4.
