About us:
Our puppies are raised with their working livestock guardian mothers on our 17 acre farm. They learn alongside them, how to protect our livestock(goats, ducks). About the Breed:
These livestock guardian dogs originate from the Pyrenees Mountains, located between France and Spain. The breed is so old, they have been fossilized. They are intuitively kind and nurturing to vulnerable and small animals. They are naturally nocturnal, warding off predators during the night. In the 1700's they were declared the royal dog in France. Queen Victoria of England owned one. Pyrenean blood was use with other large breeds to bring back the St. Bernard breed. During WWII they carried artillery through the Great Pyrenees Mountains.

Lambro is a big boy, we do not know his current weight, but he towers our Dam who weighs 128 when not pregnant or nursing. He is gentle, yet playful even at the age of 3. He loves being walked and is well mannered and teachable. He guards sheep, ducks, chickens and other farm animals.
Mother
Millie Bear is a large, majestic female. She is extremely mild tempered and calm. She is teachable, smart and SO loving. She smiles like a human and is respectful. She guards 10 children along with goats, cats and ducks. She also keeps deer and turkey out of our vegetable fields as we are farmers.
