Whopper was the first puppy we named. Weeks before he was born we were feeling the puppies moving around in the mothers belly when there was a giant push. We knew there was a Whopper in there. Being the biggest at birth earned him the name Whopper. He is still the second biggest and is just a big sweetheart. He loves to explore and just turns into putty in your arms. He loves having his belly rubbed and will sit on your lap like an old man. He has a very nice chocolate fluffy coat. His eyes are a beautiful grey color.

Our Chocolate English Labrador, Einstein, is 7 years old and is an outstanding dog. He is Dark chocolate with yellow eyes and weighs an impressive 108 pounds (no he isn't overweight). On his last Vet visit this summer the Veterinarian actually commented on how nice it was to see a healthy non overweight lab. He is very mellow and calm and very obedient and smart. He loves to sleep, hunt, swim and sleep some more. He is a very quiet dogs that only barks once in a blue moon. It was actually about two years before I heard him bark for the first time when a neighbors kid surprised us all by walking into our house without knocking. After he gave one big boisterous bark, he saw who it was and ran to the door for hugs and kisses.

Our White Standard Poodle is 2 and a half years old and is about 60 pounds. She sleeps by our bed and still gets excited in the mornings when we get up. She loves to cuddle. Outside, or inside she stays with us wherever we are. She is very loyal and calm her only desire in life is to have her head on our lap being petted. She absolutely loves her people. Like Einstein, she never barks. I think she has only barked once or twice since we have owned her. This was her first liter and she has been a wonderful mother to the pups.

The Labradoodle is a mix between the Labrador Retriever and the Poodle. Both breeds are excellent for children and families. The Labradoodle became known in 1988, when Australian breeder Wally Conron crossed the Labrador Retriever and Standard Poodle at the Royal Guide Dogs Associations of Australia in Victoria. Conron's aim was to combine the low-shedding coat of the Poodle with the gentleness and trainability of the Labrador, and to provide a guide dog suitable for people with allergies to fur and dander. Sultan, a dog from this litter, displayed all the qualities Conron was seeking and worked as a guide dog for a woman in Hawaii for ten years. Although Guide Dogs Victoria no longer breed Labradoodles, they are bred by other guide and assistance dog organizations in Australia and other places. The Association for the Blind of Western Australia has introduced Labradoodles into their training program, and their first, Jonnie, graduated in November 2010. Labradoodles are now widely used around the world as guide, assistance, and therapy dogs as well as being popular family dogs. The Norwegian Royal Crown Prince and Princess own a Labradoodle.
