Description
Jax is a Male Labrador Retriever Siberian Husky Mix Dog for adoption to a very loving home in or near Scottsdale, AZ, with a great attitude and a contagious goofy smile. This very special Yellow Lab Husky mix dog is just 16 months old and weighs 55 pounds. He's a real-life Scooby-Doo! The only reason he's being rehomed is that his owner can't keep him in a small space with very little people time. (Read below) This Scooby-Doo has lost his gang and needs a much more dog-friendly situation soon. Jax is in very good health. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. Jax is good with other dogs and with gentle and respectful people of all ages. He has not spent any time with children, but would probably do well, particularly if they play fetch with him. Phase 1 in Jax’s short life was his college days when he was the canine companion to a group of students sharing accomodations. His owners have all finished their studies and gone their separate ways, leaving Jax in the care of his foster owner, Garrett. Garrett lives in a 1 bedroom apartment and just started working full time (8 to 10 hours a day). He is having to leave Jax at home alone each day. Jax is developing cabin fever as a result, and is not a happy camper. He has begun to bark and show signs of separation anxiety while Garrett is away at work. This is not a good situation for Jaz, Garrett, or their neighbors. Garret wants the best for Jax, and is dearly hoping to find a family, couple or single who can provide a safe, happy and healthy forever home. Jax needs owners who have the time to give him companionship, who own or rent a house with a large fenced yard, and who will cherish Jax for the remainder of his life.
