Posted Breed: Hound / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 50. KELLER was saved from a kill shelter in Louisiana and arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue, in Sebec, Maine on 10 October 2023. We post in east coast states and Canada as we have many families adopt and are happy to make the worthwhile trip up to the rescue. We do not always have time to post all the pictures on each dogs individual page, but we do post a lot of photo's on the rescue Facebook page. KELLER is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, monthly preventatives, heartworm and tick disease tested negative and is microchipped with 24PetWatch.He has an estimated date of birth of May 2023 and on 26 October 2023 weighed around 60 pounds. We have no way of knowing the breed, it is up to individuals to look at the pictures and videos to make up their own mind. KELLER is a big, affectionate love bug who cannot look at anyone without waggling his bum which wags his body. He loves to play and charge around with his other dogs friends, but can be very calm and gentle with people. He has been around adults of all ages, shapes and sizes, small children and people with special needs and was gentle and loving. He is responsive and can be a little shy on occasions, he has been out on adventures and came on our December outing to Bissell Brothers Brewery where he had a great time. He does need an active family who will ensure he gets all the exercise, both mentally and physically that he needs to live a happy fulfilling life. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. KELLER is located at the rescue in Sebec Maine and is available for a reduced adoption fee of $50. Interested families are required to complete our application process and once approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and take home their new best friend. FOOD - We feed a variety of high quality brands and flavors including, chicken, turkey, beef, lamb and fish generally alternated daily. CATS - As the dogs are in the kennels, we are not able to say how they are with cats.
